Since its almost Christmas, I thought I share this poem …
The Story Of The Birth Of Jesus
Once a cold night in December,
Began a story we all remember,
With angels singing praise,
And nearby Shepherds daze.
That night in a lonely manger,
Could not have been lonelier,
For a young pregnant virgin,
With no room in the inn.
A Holy Child was born,
In a place that’s not adorn,
For the Child was a King,
Salvation He will bring.
A bright star marked the sky,
And Wise Men even came by,
Searching for the mighty One,
God’s Holy Son.
Shepherds who worked at night,
Saw an angel gleaming bright,
As they headed for the manger,
That one night in December.
In that lonely manger,
There lay the Savior,
By the Virgin Mother,
And Joseph besides her.
Of what they witness in the stall,
They praise God for what they saw.
And when they went away that night,
From that manger site,
The Good news got around,
That in a little Judea town,
A little child wrapped warmly,
Was a child of God’s Glory.
This story, now many years old,
And millions of times retold,
Reached many different places,
And all kind of races.
Many have been blessed,
Because of the birth of Jesus.

Thank you! I wrote this poem 17 years ago as a kid. I think I need to get back to poetry in light of your inspiring and biblical poem!
Bunch of lies in this poem! The incarnation of Jesus is NOT the Christ Mass (Mass means death…so much for the “merry” put in front of it-blasphemy-! its not merry, His death and he is alive so Mass is highly anti-christ) story nor was Christ Jesus born on a cold night in December. Nor would shepherds be out on cold nights-these were sheep for sacrifices and were taken very good care of! They would not be exposed to the cold. Those wise men came about two years later. How dare we use lies to worship God with! And why is Christ Jesus, the Holy Lamb of God, being lowered down to the same level as other gods whose birth was, and still is, celebrated during the Yule season? How is that keeping Him holy as in “set apart?” Can we really worship God in spirit and in truth by incorporating the lies of religious paganism which Christ did not redeem? Shall the unclean things become clean by touching the clean? Impossible! And why are we even touching the unclean? I praise God for revealing these lies that I had believed as truth! \o/ I praise my Beloved for setting me free from the bondage of X Mass! \o/ And, He opened my eyes of understanding in His Word by showing me that the same religious heathen practices that Israel incorporated in their worship of God is the very same as what the Christians are doing today by their being no different than the Wiccans in appearance and the Druids in their traditions. I pray, Father God, open these Christians’ eyes to see the lies they are believing is truth; help them to see these unholy pagan/papist/ traditions of men as you see them! Mercy on them, Lord, for their disobedience to Your holy Word and grant them repentance, amen! \o/
Believing lies leads to another Jesus…the Jesus of Christo-paganism (think RCC, for one). If you think its OK because it brings people to Christ then you do know that it is the Holy Spirit that does that, not this fabricated RCC story of X Mass, right? And you would have to believe, too, that the ends justifies the means. So, God uses the enemy’s tactics to bring in His elect? Don’t answer that… This is not about Christian liberty (done by twisting Romans 14, etc., as though Paul would approve of us doing such things as that which God judged Israel for doing, i.e., worshiping Him in the same manner as the heathen do their gods) but about obedience to God (see Acts 15:20, 29 which speaks about abstaining from things polluted by idols-no, that is not about meats since Paul gave instructions about meats offered to idols-see Acts 19:19 to see what is to be done with X Mass trees and all religious paganism in our midst).
Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog shine.
Please let me know where you got your design. Many thanks
