I bet you got all of them
I had never heard of 2, 5 & 7…so I kind of failed this test. haha.
Wow you did pretty good if it’s only 2, 5 and 7 you don’t know! Gordon Clark was someone who disagreed with Van Til. Gene Cook is a host of a radio sometime back called Unchained Radio/The Narrow Mind Broadcast but there’s word that he’s going to be doing the show again sometime this year. So I’m not surprised now that I think about it that some might not really know him. Sye Ten Bruggencate has grown in more popularlity since the release last year of his DVD “How to Answer a Fool” that documents him taking Presuppositional apologetics “to the streets,” as in street and open air preaching.
I won’t look at the answers but here’s what I got
1. Cornelius Van Till
2. Gordon Clark
3. James White?
4. John Frame
5. Gene Cook (I am not familiar with any by that name but that is what I got from the picture)
6. Scott (I don’t know)
7. No idea
8. Steve Bail? (again not sure)
Wow pretty good BDUB!
3. James White is correct, he blogs at AOMIN.org and is a great scholar specializing in Counter-cults and Islam and capable Presupper and NT studies and…(I can go on)
5.) Gene is correct, he use to do a show call Unchained Radio and you can find some of his debates online still. You might enjoy listening to him.
6.) Scott Oliphint is a Professor of apologetics that took over Van Til’s old spot.
7.) Sye is the guy behind ProofthatGodExists.org
8.) Steve Hays blog at Triablogue.blogspot.com
[…] Picture Charades: Do you know your presuppositional apologists?- A fun activity of identifying key presuppositional thinkers. I take an integrative approach to apologetics, so I think it is important to read evidentialists, presuppositionalists, classical apologists, and yes, even fideists. […]
Thanks!
