That God has called us just before now to be ministers of truth. He called Jeremiah before time and set him apart to be a fortified city and this is just the same with us provided we are willing to accept his Word and the call.
Sounds like an encouraging message

We learned how poor and needy we are, and the only remedy is to turn to God in prayer. That our only relief can be found through prayer and how it is a battle in the life of a Christian to pray regularly, but it is an indicator of our heart’s attitude toward God.
I need to download this later
Reblogged this on Talmidimblogging.
Thanks for reblogging this. Just got back from church today so it was nice to see this =)
My pleasure Pastor Jim!
Definitely convicted and encouraged to pray for our church and its individuals more, God is good!
Amen, God is good!
Today we learned about burnt stones from the book of Nehemiah. Fascinating subject that will require some more personal study.
My church is trying to focus on Christians that have wandered away and bring them, the burnt stones, back so they can be restored.
I just prayed that God would use this series in your church.
Thank you
God is using this already Jim. People who have not been to church for whatever reason in years are coming back.
I like to think big becuase we have a big God who can do anything so I am praying for a revival, or course.
But, my day is always made when even one lost sheep comes back home.
But the way, my church is formally partnering with a homeless ministry my family and I have been working with, big an awesome things are going to come from this. I pray for every member of the congregation to take Christ to the street.
God bless brother.
James
Praise be to God. If God leads you, pray for our struggling congregation.
I will. My pastor has started preaching on freedom in Christ as in Galatians 5:1. I think that has helped.
I will have my church pray too. As a body, we are praying for new life for churches all over the world.
Thank you James. You don’t know how much this means to me.
The pastor taught from 2 Kings 20 on prayer from the example of Hezekiah. It was a simple call to prayer that I needed to hear myself. God uses our prayers for His glory.
Wow that peaked my interests to re-read 2 Kings again. Been thinking about that lately as a guy from my church is new to the Old Testament and is currently on 2 Kings. Thanks for sharing!
Our pastor is paralleling the Bible Study Fellowship Int’l. study of Revelation so we did Revelation 8:1-5. He mostly concentrated about how all prayers are answered and treasured by God. It was a real dose of caffeine for my prayer life
“It was a real dose of caffeine for my prayer life” I love that.
