Let me say right up front this is not a post supporting Donald Trump. I personally prefer another candidate and I have a hard time with some of the things Trump has to say. Again this post is not so much about Trump as it is about the consistency of those who have complained about Donald Trump, his endorsement by David Duke (former grandwizard from the KKK) and Trump’s response.
The Liberal Media have been having a field day. Even NPR headline states “Trump Fails To Condemn KKK On Television, Turns To Twitter To Clarify.” The subject has been trending on Social Media. Some wanted to see if Trump would repudiate David Duke and the KKK. Some even zoomed in closer of Trump’s handling of the manner. The discussion doesn’t necessarily help Trump’s public image as some find this affair as a reason to dismiss support for Trump.
But using the same logic behind the criticism of Trump, how would the same people respond to the relationship and support Planned Parenthood has received from the Klan and Satanists?
The founder of Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger recorded in her own autobiography of how she once spoke to a woman’s group of the Ku Klux Klan. Pro-abortionists have said defended that action by saying that’s because Sanger was so zealous for our cause, she was desperate for her message to be heard. But that’s not good enough to justify Sangers’ action for the same reason that it’s not good of a reason to excuse Trump IF he were to use the same line of reasoning of why he wouldn’t repudiate the KKK’s support is because he’s zealous for his cause of making America great again (note: Trump didn’t use this line of argument to my knowledge). Moreover, what Sanger did was even more unacceptable than the situation Donald Trump has with the KKK. Trump can’t control who would say good things about him and who would say bad things about him. But unlike Sangers, Trump relationship with the KKK wasn’t as cozy that he actually attended their meeting to speak on their platform. Would the same people who condemn Trump also condemn Margaret Sanger? I hope so.
Let’s also look at something more recent. Here now I want to be more specific of whom I’m addressing: Those who professes to be Christians who are criticizing Trump for the whole KKK debacle while supporting Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. Apparently Satanists love to support Planned Parenthood. The Washington Examiner in August 2015 reported that “Satanists drench women with milk for Planned Parenthood counter-protest.” The local Fox News affiliate in Detroit reported that “at this protest, it was the sight of a demonstration by the Satanic Temple of Detroit that seemingly left the longest lasting impression with its members having gallons of milk poured down their throats, almost in a water-boarding type fashion.” That might not be far from the truth if you see the video on Youtube and the earlier picture above from Life News.
Satanists support for Planned Parenthood isn’t just a one time thing. For instance in December 2015 the Independent reports “Why Satanic Temple’s spokeswoman is blogging her own abortion.” Satan worshipers have also filed lawsuits against sticter laws against abortions.
I don’t see any indication that Planned Parenthood is distancing itself from Satanists. Would such a professing Christian using their same logic against Trump be consistent in rejecting Planned Parenthood?
