Hey brothers and sisters in Christ,
Again thank you all for praying.
Thank you for those who wrote guest blogs and holding down the fort while I was away!
I’m back from my trip overseas. I am thankful for all of you that prayed for me as this was a country I have not been to before and know so little about not to mention this being the first time meeting my contacts in person. I traveled alone and packed for cold weather but it turned out this country had diverse weather and the area I was in was extremely hot, it was just as hot as my time in Iraq. I had a bit of a rough start with the theological education on the first day because we were trying to get use to one another (translator, myself and the pastors) but God was more than gracious to us from the second day forward. It was more than theological education that I appreciate in serving, it was also rubbing shoulders with the people and getting involved with their young people. I was glad to have served the Lord in this country with this country who have very little Christian.
Next week I do want to post my thoughts about the future of theological education and missions.
