A hundred twenty one years ago my favorite Christian apologist was born. Cornelius Van Til is also known as the father of Presuppositional apologetics. If you are new to Dr. Van Til, here in this post I want to recommend resources on Dr. Van Til (including free books below!). Over the years we have put together a lot of resources on him and his apologetics. To this day the top searched items on our blog relates to his materials and his school of apologetics.

Thanks for the reblog!
You’re very welcome!
Thanks Brother Jim, I have never read him.
Many people have said it’s hard to read Van Til. I think his disciples, men like Greg Bahnsen and John Frame has done a better job explaining him in writing and lectures. Then the disciples of those men have even broken down it Sesame Street style. I probably recommend Sye’s two videos here for beginners: https://veritasdomain.wordpress.com/2015/11/17/biblical-apologetics-sessions-in-you-will-be-my-witnesses-saskatoon-evangelism-conference/
I do struggle somewhat with deep theology and philosophy; it’s really not my forte. I understand it’s necessary. To help this out, one of my favorite commentaries is my J Vernon Mcgee one. Now, that I can undersand!
