Wow – this is great! Thanks for the post brother!
You’re welcome brother and thank you for reblogging this!
You’re welcome SJ – happy to share it 😀
Thanks, Jim. I just caught a few snippets. I’ll be watching/listening to this at work tomorrow.
That’s so cool you can do that at work!
Yeah, it’s so great I can sit and listen all day long. A lot of what I do is very routine…even the problem solving…so I can listen to sermons, lectures, etc., while I work, no problem.
I watched this the other day. Interesting
I was a bit disturbed by how political we are, by how easily we are influenced socially. Many if those calling themselves atheists, don’t even really understand what that means. People were supporting Dawkins without even knowing what he had said. It is like being an atheist is trendy, socially desirable, and so little thought went into examining ones beliefs personally, rationally.
Yeah its amazing how undiscerning people are. Your comment made me think of the atheists on college campus I’ve witnessed to who fit the description you mentioned. Still need to watch this after I preach but from the snippet I’ve seen its kind of cool to see that Ray Comfort has been evangelizing on campuses I have minister and evangelize at. Thanks for sharing your thought!
Well, I happen to be a huge fan of Ray Comfort. I have used his “good person” test several times, with complete strangers. It’s effective in getting people to think. He is fearless, direct, yet full of love and kindness.
I too have been tremendously blessed with his ministry and every week on college campuses we do the good person test for our evangelism. It is good to hear from you! How are you holding up with work? I hope you are able to go to church this morning?
Holding up pretty well, I get worn down and go to bed at 700 at night and feel better the next day.
I did get to go to preaching this morning!! Not Sunday School, but did make preaching.

Any endeavour that shows atheism to be the delusion that it is and leads people to salvation is to be applauded. If the movie saves even one person it will have been worthwhile.
I am concerned however that it undermines the Christian witness and credibility on the following counts:
1) Mockery should not be in the Christian’s locker. Dawkins is mocked when he contradicts himself. Omit that – there is plenty else in the film that shows him to be wrong (easy to do – even atheists at Oxford University and elsewhere are embarrassed by his unscientific approach).
2) Many aspects of evolution are compatible with belief in God, e.g. Starlings are darker in cities. Be careful not to “throw the baby out with the bath water” by decrying all talk of “evolution” as wrong. This too undermines the credibility of The Christian message, and unnecessarily so.
3) Many Christians see the eating of meat (especially red) as immoral, because of its effect on our bodies and the planet. It is an unnecessary
stumbling block. Cut it out.
I watched the whole film and agreed with every other point. I hope my thoughts help you make the film better. I should love to show a film like this to atheist friends but feel I cannot do so for the above reasons. My concern is for the credibility and intellectual authenticity of the Gospel message.
Yours faithfully,
Mike Buckland,

Correction: “whole” not “devote”. Do please correct my original post if you can.
And the two other typos after that: “I should”, and “like” not “mike”.
I fixed the typos, let me know if there’s anything I missed Mike. Thanks for the comment and your thoughts
Me too – I can’t wait!
