I posted a little ditty on our Facebook page and Twitter but I thought I post this on the blog as well. (If you haven’t followed us on social media feel free to like and follow us).
Biblically faithful preaching is harder to find today in more ways than one. Perhaps the most common problem is that some no longer like to preach on sin. If that is true I imagine it is more true that most people do not like Biblical preaching because it talks about sin.
But Why Must Preachers talk about Sin?
Here’s why:
Remember the Ditty:
Until people see their sin as sin, they would not turn to Christ to be forgiven.
As preachers we must preach accurately what the Bible has to say about sin, so that people would see the sinfulness of sin and turn to Christ to be forgiven.

Thanks Vice for the reblog of this link!
You’re very welcome Pastor Jim 😎
Noticed something from Chapel Library; wish more people knew about it. Blessings ~ Fran
Was there a particular title you noticed from Chapel Library? Last year I gave some focus to reading their materials especially works by Spurgeon and I loved it! By the way, I still need to get around to reading your book sometime in February!
I noticed Chapel Library in one of the pictures on your Facebook page. They have a Free Grace Broadcaster available to all who request it. Every other month we receive this booklet on a certain subject written by selected Puritan and Reformers; almost every one of them includes a contribution from Spurgeon. I suppose we should post their website to let other readers know of their free literature.
Whenever you have time, it would be an honor for you to read one of my books. The Lord has blessed for a seventh book to be published soon. Please pray His blessings for this one and the others. Blessings for your worship tomorrow. ~ Fran
