If you haven’t heard the news there’s been riots over at Berkeley over a speaker name Milo.
Some quarter on the Left are the very thing they say they hate about the “other side:” They are intolerant, violent, and oppressive.
In crying fascists they have become the very thing they accuse others are.
I’m posting this to say that that some on the Left who think this is ok need to look themselves in the mirror.
May I make something clear for the Left leaning trolls who want to point fingers at others.
First off, no I didn’t vote for Trump. I also personally find Milo too vulgar to listen to for my taste. So I’m not personally condoning that you have to listen to him. Please also don’t give an argument that commit the fallacy that two wrongs makes a right. Or if you say the rioting was only by those on the fringe I would say you are right but at the same time it seems the last week we have seen many mainstream left leaning celebrities talk about violence such as blowing up the White House, and punching people in the face as speech before cheering crowds such as during the SAG award. Last week we even saw “punching Nazi” go viral. These kind of mainstream acceptance of speech condoning violence by the Left against those who disagree with them has been increasing rather than decreasing. In contrast with the mainstream right I don’t think it is accepted to say things like wanting to do violence towards those they disagree, such as blow up a mosque or punch LGBT in the face, etc as examples (that would be horrible). I’m not pointing this out because I want the Right to reciprocate similar rhetoric; I’m afraid where that would take our country, I surely don’t want a civil war. Rather I want the Left as a movement to also look at themselves in the mirror and hope they don’t become the very thing they say they hate.
Yes if this applies to you I’m calling you out on your hypocrisy.
If it does not apply to you, carry on. If you are a Christian, pray for our country.
