Are you going through the blues?  Is your soul despondent?  Do you have a melancholy spirit?  These are all synonomous terms for a depressed person.  Check out this book trailer concerning Lloyd-Jones below.  His treatment on this subject has had a profound impact upon many decades to come.  His treatment on the subject brought back the importance of the sufficiency of Scripture.  In day where psycho-babble is being used as the substitue for Scripture, this resource by the doctor will be helpful for the soul-seeker who needs revival in the midst of despondency.

For the first sermon, please listen to Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ sermon called, “Mind; Heart and Will.”  I found this message helpful because often we ignore that the whole entire being is needed when dealing with the blues.  If we don’t we will continue to carry a heavy load upon our shoulder. May we flee from our sin and may our mind, emotion, and will be dependent upon the Gospel which can inflame us for the holy pursuit of Christ.  Here is the link: http://www.mljtrust.org/sermons/mind-heart-and-will/

For the second sermon, please listen to Pastor Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ sermon called, “That One Sin.”  If is often easy to slide back into depression when that one sin in the past or failure gets resurrected.  Here the doctor brings biblical perspective in how to deal with the matter.  May we move forward for the prize and not look back.  Here is the link: http://www.mljtrust.org/sermons/that-one-sin/

Here are the complete messages below from the series of 24 sermons on depression that was later were compiled and edited to create a book.
