It’s Sunday Morning. I know sometimes ministry is not easy. So here’s another little motivation from the Word of God for preachers before you enter your pulpit and teachers before you go in to instruct your class.
Today’s post comes from 1 Timothy 4:10=
For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.
Here’s a question based upon the verse:
Have you fixed your hope on the Living God?
Note that 1 Timothy 4;10 is situated in a passage about ministers nourishing the congregation beginning in verse 6.
When you are ministering and teaching God’s people make sure you don’t forget about God. Fix your hope on the God of the Bible. When you fix your hope on the God of the Bible the good news is that He is a living God!
Thanks and good counsel for all who labor for the Lord in their ministry.
You’re welcome Tom, I hope these truths also encourage all of us in our ministry through our blog as well. Keep up the good work Tom!
Thanks, Jim! I appreciate you blog as well!

This is also, good reference for those who are being taught. A distracted mind is hard to reach no matter how focused the teacher.:0)
Pam! How are you doing???! It is so good to hear from you! I say amen to what you said about how this is applicable to all of us as well even if we’re not teaching! How’s your health?
Hi Jim:0) I’m doing much better. I should have changed doctors a long time ago. How are you?
I’m doing well. I’ll be going overseas for a short term missions to some undisclosed countries sometime in August and right now I’m trying to prepare my courses to teach there while in the midst of fulfilling my full time ministry. If you can Pam please pray for my missions and the preparation for my courses. Again Pam it is so good to hear from you! I hope it is not too hot at your neck of the wood?
Yes, I will pray and I know you will bless anyone who will sit under your teaching.:0) It’s not as hot as last week. I have a mailman cousin(in his fifties) in Phoenix where it was 120 and 142 inside his mail truck. When I feel sorry for myself, I think about him. If you would say a prayer or two for him and others who have to work in such inhuman heat. God bless and keep you, Jim.
Liking isn’t enough! AWESOME post. Short and sweet, but definitely to the point! God bless greatly and richly!
Thank you Roland for reading this post! I have been posting these Biblical motivation posts every Sunday for the last few weeks and plan to do more of it, so hopefully it would edify God’s people with proper Godly motivation to serve Him. Drop by again brother!
