You’re very welcome Pastor Jim 😎
Thanks for these links.
RE: The Bible Tells Me So, interesting to see where these “evangelical” hipsters are trying to lead the church: a (c)hristian relativism where you discard all of the “hard” passages in the Bible. I’m glad the writer “named names,” something Christians increasingly shy away from these days.
I appreciated that article written by Alf that you mentioned. Have you heard of Jen Hatmaker and Peter Enns before? So many so called Evangelicals that subvert the faith. Concerning Peter Enns several years ago I posted on here a refutation of his theological method using Presuppositional apologetics here: https://veritasdomain.wordpress.com/2010/10/16/a-critical-evaluation-of-peter-enns%E2%80%99-theological-method-in-his-formulation-of-the-incarnational-model-of-scripture/
I’ve heard of Hatmaker because of her controversial affirmation of same-sex marriages. I wasn’t really aware of Enns before, although I did notice his book, “The Bible Tells Me So: Why Defending Scripture Has Made Us Unable to Read It” on the shelves at Barnes and Noble. Thanks for the link to your post about the controversy over “Inspiration and Incarnation” at WTS. The inerrancy of the Bible is always under attack. A guy like Enns supposedly believes God created the Universe, but can’t swallow the Old Testament miracles?
Thanks for posting these links SlimJim! 😊
