Business Insider has an article titled “Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey forced to apologize for eating Chick-fil-A during Pride Month.” The reason why Twitter CEO apologized for eating Chic Fil A is because the company’s owner supports biblical Christian value concerning marriage and family. These days Christians who believe in what the Bible has to say about marriage, sex and family are demonized as the equivalent of Klansmen and Nazis.
But we must not miss the totalitarian nature of what the Left and our culture is becoming. What do I mean?
Think of two different news item this month.
On the one hand you have this Twitter CEO eating Chic Fil A. Those from the LGBT community protests that people shouldn’t be eating a Chicken Sandwich from Chic Fil A. Yet on the other hand Christian businesses in the wedding industry MUST make cakes and other goods for gay marriage ceremonies.
So if someone sees a Christian business…should they boycott them or should they go in and give them business?
I guess from this you can give Christian business that believes in biblical ethics so long as you are forcing them to do business with you in a situation that violates their conscience, beliefs and principles.
It is ironic seeing how much intolerance and how much shaming that comes from the Left.
Apparently you can’t have your Chic Fil A but you can have a Christian baker make an LGBT wedding cake for you and eat it too…

Very good insight! Even a caveman should be able to see and understand this bias – 😀
Thank you brother; I hope people reading this see it very clear the incredible intolerance and totalitarian nature of the Left against those they disagree and those who even want to just enjoy themselves a chicken sandwich so that they be ashamed of it and repent unto the Lord. A big thank you for reblogging this post on your blog!
You’re welcome brother! I appreciated your post – thanks for posting it! This politically correct social engineering posturing needs to be exposed for what it is with all the ramifications addressed for those who advocate such an ideological shift. I’m afraid this is only the beginning of an Orwellian type State whereby all people will be monitored and reported by the indoctrinated thought police.

Yeah!!
Yes, the tolerant Left has no tolerance for those who disagree.
The Left loves to say the word “Tolerance” but their action spells out “Tolerance” with two letters before it: An I and a N for their action says “There are many means I will use to justify the end.” True or not?
True. And they will always relabel their intolerance as righteous indignation.
Yep. The men of Sodom groped for the door to pursue their homosexual desires even AFTER God blinded them. The Leftists, including the “Christian” Leftists, will never give up in pushing their perversions. These people glory in their shame, such as the right to kill their own children up to their 1st breath. Nothing is beyond them.
It’s so so sad to see how low some will go with their wickedness

Thanks for the reblog; hope you are doing well brother!
Yankee Whiskey Bravo and I’m doing good Pastor Jim 👍
I’ve never understood the rationale in all of this.
If there was a business, that for whatever reason was in opposition to me, I would simply NOT want to do business with them. I wouldn’t force the issue but rather I’d find a business that I felt comfortable with and enjoyed.
Why then do we have stories like this with folks forcing businesses to conform and comply? Isn’t that what our freedom is all about? To frequent those businesses we like while opting not to frequent those, we don’t like.
An adult toy store that sells sex toys…well I don’t care for that…and yet, as I don’t like such a business the irony is that I certainly don’t go out of my way to force them not to sell what they sell. I don’t like it and so, in turn, I just don’t have a need to go there to buy their products… but I don’t try to force their hand either.
And that’s what this is all about, forcing the hand of a business to do something that is not what they are about.
That’s how I approach things; but there are some people who will demonize us as the ones who are intolerant; isn’t it so wrong?
Very much wrong!!
I’m of the age (55) where I have seen fads come and go. Right now, all this LGBT (QRST) stuff is a fad that has many crying “Me to.” Mark my words, put them on a shelf, and write them in a book…These folk are going to push this pendulum issue so far that eventually the counter weight will force it to swing back the other way. This is not necessarily saying it will swing a God way, but it will swing the other way.
I agree; I think the popularity of the “Alt-Right” and Jordan Peterson is an example of the pendulum swing; I also think the growth of Islam in Europe is also an example of the extreme pendulum swing and as you said it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s Christian and I’m afraid of both this current fad and also the reaction would look like as it is extremely intolerant. My generation needs to hear your wisdom and insight from experience and I wished more of us see that…amen?
Time is short.

As I understand this, it was the gay couples that were unmovable in their handling of this. The bakers (as this was more than one case) didn’t really refuse service, they refused to make a cake with the theme in the decor supporting gay marriage. If the couple had to have a cake from that baker, they could have bought a generic cake, and bought two grooms (or brides) to place on it and no conflict. But they wanted the conflict. I got into a big discussion about this with some folks (on another social medium) who were saying if those conservatives don’t want diversity, they should move somewhere to a deserted island. We went back and forth for awhile, until I brought up my being a freelance artist. I guess they didn’t expect an artist to make the stand I was making because when I asked; ” Should I be forced to take a freelance job even if it is promoting a subject completely against my beliefs?”, I didn’t get an answer, and it shut the discussion down completely.
That’s more details I didn’t know about the baker cases, or at least with one of them. I think your example of a freelance artist is a good one; the other side can be quite oppressive but I also believe if we speak out against it and give examples of how it is tryannical some do have consciences that testify to themselves that this is getting out of hand and it is wrong. I believe your comment here and this post along with your discussion in another social media venue are things God uses…as there are always lurkers who see what we are saying. I think we must remember that. On that note, thank you for reblogging this post too brother.
Thank you for posting it, Jim. Somehow your articles help me organize my thoughts. 🙂
Yet another choice that the pro-choice crowd wants to take away from us.

It’s not about eating or not eating, it’s about about the freedom of their choice. Other’s people’s choices be damned. It’s only fair if they are the ones who determine what can and can not be done. Their world view is so warped they don’t see how selfish they have become.
