Earlier this month was the third year of Veritas Conference, a weekend gathering of biblical like-minded churches in Southern California. I have blogged about this conference in the past. In 2016 the topic was on the Gospel followed by 2017 on Sanctification. For 2018 the topic was on the Glory of God.
Here are the videos from the main session:
The Glory of God: The Ultimate Goal of All Things
The Glorifying Trinity
Worthy is the Lamb: A Portrait of the Glory of God and the Culmination of His Purposes
Veritas Conference 2018 Q&A
Thanks for these! Especially looking forward to listening to session #2 during work today.
Thanks. These look wonderful and I look forward to watching them.
Blessings, grace and peace.
You’re welcome and thank you for watching these!
Awww! This is excellent! Thank you. Looking forward to listening to all 3!
You’re welcome! Let me know what you think of them if you get around to them, even if it is just one of them! Looks like Tom really liked #2 on the Trinity!
Actually Slim is right the second one is quite edifying
I was blessed by the session #2 video sermon! We oftentimes tend to think about the Trinity as a dry, theological truth, but there are great lessons there as we see in the Word; about love, relationships, and glorifying God. Thanks!
I’m quite encouraged to hear you were blessed by session #2 video! I think the last few years I have been amazed at the meat of the Bible’s teaching on the Trinity…it isn’t just a doctrine to fight against the cults, but has huge implications for the Christian life and worship of God as well! I guess I’m growing up in doctrines beyond my days of just seeing the Trinity as something to argue with Mormons and JWs…although the more I see the implications and the glory of the Trinity the more I also believe in the Bible’s teaching of the Trinity. I think today’s church should not just only teach the Trinity is true, but show the relationship of the Trinity and also its implications for Christian worship and Christian living…
I very much appreciate sermons like that one that point out practical applications for Christian thinking and living from “lofty” doctrines such as the Trinity.
I wished more preachers would focus on drawing out the implication of deep and beautiful and glorious doctrine for Christian living rather than serve spiritual Cotton Candy like Osteen and Andy Stanley…
Yes, cotton candy preaching is the norm these days.
I will find the time to watch.
Aww I’m encouraged to hear this! Tom in the comment enjoyed video 2 by the way. How are you doing my dear sister Beverly?
One day at a time.
Thank you for these, Jim. I look forward to watching. Blessings and the Lord’s presence ~ Father, Son and Holy Spirit with you for the Lord’s Day worship and Word.
Thank you Frances; how are you and Jerry doing?

Thanks for the reblog!

Thanks for these Jim! I’ll bookmark them and try to watch them when I know my data cap will handle it.
I understand! Does the data cap also effect your webcomic work such as how often you can post?
Well, for images I work in PSP and PNG formats, but before I upload them, I convert them to JPGs so that the memory is much less. That way most of the quality is still there, but it has a lot less impact on my data. Videos are a whole other matter, and usually require a lot more data. A three minute video can pull 10 megs (and that’s not HD), so anything over 5 minutes I have to be careful with. I usually have a couple of GB left over at the end of a cycle and that’s when I do my catching up.
wanna reblog this its good!
