A non-fiction weekend reading review, because Pastors also need a break from heavy theological reading!

This is a book on the Roman Catholic military order known as the Knights Templar.  By the way reading and reviewing this book doesn’t mean I condone the Templars’ interpretation of Christianity.  But for historical purposes of understanding the past the book discussed the history of the Templars from its unassuming origin to its rise and dramatic demise.  The book also went over the Templar’s legacy and legend surrounding them and what that means for us today.  I have heard of the Knights Templar before but didn’t know much about it, hence I decided to pick up this work to learn more about its actual history and separate that from internet fiction.

Our society emphasize so much of unrealistic physical attractiveness.  Think of what the media projects to us with ads, TV shows, celebrities, etc.

Sadly this affect the church as well.
