With all the news about Christians being persecuted, where Pastors are being arrested, members disappearing, churches being destroyed, even believers being killed, let us think of them. Pray for them. Think of their plights and their family suffering.
Our church this Sunday was led to really pray for the believers in difficult situations. Especially for those who are persecuted by the government in which believers have been arrested or disappeared because Jesus is the reason for their treason.
As Bibleguy shared from Hebrews 13:3: “Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.”

Your welcome either is fine.
Yes… we need to pray for the persecuted church. Praise God that your church was led to pray. More churches should doing the same.
Indeed it would be good if more believers and churches pray for the church that’s persecuted. Going to go to sleep for now God bless you!
Have a goodnight brother Jim.
Thanks for the reminder to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
Indeed may we live out Hebrews 13:3. Good night for now!
Have a blessed day after you wake up!
Merry Christmas!
Blessings, grace and peace from King Jesus to you and your family.
Thank you for the reminder. In prayer. 🙂
I’m encouraged to hear you prayed for the persecuted church. That means a lot to me.
:))
So many of us don’t have a clue and God please help us if we ever have to face the same.
What a thought you brought up sister Beverly; imagining if the role were reversed in which we were persecuted and in need of prayer should move us to pray for the persecuted church. Thank you for that thought again Beverly.
Jim, Thank you for sharing this short note. As b.c. stated how this persecution is spreading is not far from our own shores. Unless churches prepare, this nation will not be ready to face the fiery trials that are inevitable.
Amen!
