Had a lot of counseling and things come up this month pastorally while in the midst of working on preparing to teach overseas this Spring in an undisclosed location.
Please pray for my studies and preparation that I can get everything done and done well.
Basically I’ll be teaching a semester’s worth of teaching in a one week period…not once but twice in two location.
I appreciate your prayers.
Also if you want to further help consider writing and submitting guest posts that I can schedule on this blog while I’m away with restricted internet.

Prayers of course
Thank you; what can I pray for you?
Pray for my lost two uncles. Thanks
I’m praying for your prep, brother!
Thank you this means a lot brother and it is an encouragement for me to press on. How may I also pray for you?
I would appreciate a prayer that I be the husband the Lord wants me to be. My wife and I have had some good conversations on improving our communication recently, but we need to follow through and I as the husband need to lead the effort. Thanks, brother!
Reblogged this on Talmidimblogging.
Thanks for the reblog!

Praying…
God always helps you rise to the challenge. Prayers …of course.
What can I pray for you for?
Artistic direction.I have opened an Etsy shop for my handmade 3D greeting cards. Three sold right off the bat so I am making a few more. It would be really helpful to have a little extra in the bank accont.
On the home front it looks like at least Mother will be back on Stay Home health this week. Medicare removes you if you don’t have a med change every so often. Doesn’t matter that there is no improvement. Having an aid a couple of days a week takes some of the pressure off of me. Not sure what they have planned for my dad as he is so uncooperative. They took him off of Hospics a while back but there has been no improvement….just the same.
Thank you for staying intouch and especially your prayers.
Pastor Jim, just prayed for you asking God to give you clarity of thought, strength to carry out, and His power to go feed His sheep.
Thank you so much for your prayer as I have been very exhausted; how may I pray for you?
Always in prayer. Our God will be with your journy for sure. 🙂
Thank you so much; haven’t asked you recently Bonnie but how may I pray for you?
Pray for Mary my daughter. She is ill with Fibro. Ty. Love in our Christ. 🙂
I have prayed, and will continue to pray for you my friend!
Aww thanks! That means so much as I’m kind of exhausted from ministry and preparing these lectures to pastors overseas; how may I also pray for you Lauren?
I have no idea how you’re able to keep up with everything you do! God’s strength is evident in your weakness. Please pray for my family, brother. Thank you for asking!
recently attended a 5 week overview of Romans. the teacher emphasized expounding on the most important teachings by avoiding what he called the BLACK HOLES of scripture. The main point Paul was making is that both legalism and liberty run amok are distortions of the gospel. Getting trapped by the black holes, it is easy to miss the main theme.
the teacher could not cover the main points by getting into the black hole debate about. if it has not been solved to everyone’s satisfaction by now, why go there?
At the same time I am in another study going through Genesis. By not following this advice we wasted 45 minutes trying resolve Nephilim mysteries. Guess what, it was not solved. Big surprise.
God Be With you, Jim.
Ahh thanks this encouragement means a lot to keep me going
Lifting you up in prayer daily Jim. And at my end, that God would touch our daughter that has a narcissistic personality disorder, it’s always difficult. I haven’t forgotten about the article! Grace and blessings brother.
Thank you for your prayers and thank you for remembering the article! I haven’t forgotten about your daughter and your comment prompted me to pray for her right now. I sense the heavy burden and care you have for her
Thank you Jim. It is difficult because there is the humanistic side of ourselves that has to be let go of and the utter dependency and trust we must maintain that God will work a miracle in her life. And she is a single parent now with a six month old black daughter, which makes it so much more difficult. God is obviously preparing my wife and I for something and I am so thankful for His patience with us and His presence through all of this. Walking away from her is not an option yet remaining in her life and being subjected to her demands, lack of compassion or respect and willingness to accommodate a perspective different from her own can be so difficult at times. God has blessed our marriage with deep unity and a oneness of love between my wife and I and our trust in His ways that is such a gift. Some days are better than others yet He is faithful throughout. It is humbling. Thank you so much for your prayers. God’s grace, peace and protection on you and yours as you minister for our King.
I’ll be praying for you, brother Jim!
Thank you! This means a lot to me. Its encouraging to hear that. How may I pray for you?
Please pray that I will work hard on translating “Bell Mountain” with God’s help and that it will be published someday! 🙂 I will really appreciate it! 🙂
