Abner Chou is a professor at the Master’s Seminary. He recently delivered his William R. Rice Lecture Series for Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary this Spring 2019.
This would be timely in light of yesterday being Good Friday and tomorrow being Resurrection Sunday.
Here are the three sessions:
Thanks for this series! I’m going to queue them up for the work week.
You’re welcome! I hope you enjoy them next week. Have a blessed Saturday where I hope its different than last week doing massive yard work!
Thanks and have a blessed Saturday and Resurrection Sunday tomorrow! Nope, no work today other than cleaning the house with my wife. Our son and his crew are coming over for ham dinner today instead of tomorrow. I bought some fresh kielbasa and horseradish for dinner for tomorrow, just my wife and I. That’s my one observance of Polish tradition on Resurrection Sunday. What are your plans for tomorrow? BTW, I called one of the local comic shops yesterday and they do have Black Beetle book you reviewed so I’m going to pick it up Monday. p.s. I finished the yard raking this past week so no more raking until next Fall.

Thanks Jim! Got them bookmarked!
Aww nice! Hope you have a blessed Saturday brother
You too, Jim! 🙂
Ty, Pastor Jim. A Happy Resurrection Day to you and yours.:)
Likewise to you Maw Maw! I hope you are having a blessed Saturday also, reflecting on Christ’s work on the Cross
For true, My Brother in Christ.:)
Thanks for sharing Pastor Jim and Happy Resurrection Sunday.
Both of my parents have now passed on and I can’t wait to see them in heaven. They were wonderful Christian people and I got to spend 16 months caring for Mom. She died in late August. Since then, I’ve been focused on dealing with all the red tape as I was the eldest son and responsible for settling family stuff. I’m getting there and plan to start blogging again soon.
May God continue to bless your ministry! 🙂
With your loss of your parents recently this Resurrection Sunday must especially be more special than usual with the hope to come in the New Heaven and New Earth.
Indeed, Steve, and thank you for relating to my situation. I was so blessed to have Christian parents who brought me up in God’s Word and in a good church. What a great hope we have as you have mentioned! I so look forward to the New Heaven and the New Earth and seeing my parents in bodies that groan no longer.
5 “For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, 3 inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked. 4 For indeed while we are in this tent, we groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
