In continuing with our blog’s “wee-kids Wednesdays” here’s a review of a Christian Children’s book. I got this book after I recently finished Bible Infographics for Kids Volume 2 with my kids.

I got this book after first reading volume 2 of Bible infographics for kids. The second volume was so good that I thought I should buy the first volume. The book certainly met my expectation. This is a fun and informative book that kids will enjoy and they will learn from it about the Bible and what the Bible teaches through its many pictures, graph and charts. Harvest House Publishers did a good job with this one!
The subtitle is somewhat long but gives readers a clue of some of the contents covered in this book: “Giants, Ninja Skills, a talking donkey and what’s the deal with the tabernacle?” Two of my favorite sections of the book include “How Can You be Sure Jesus is the Chosen One?” and “Jesus is Crucified.” I appreciated “How Can You be Sure Jesus is the Chosen One?” because it neatly presents Messianic prophecies and summarizes the reason why Jesus is the Messiah. There’s an apologetics’ value here. I also appreciated the details of Jesus’ crucifixion in the book since as Christians the death of Christ is something we can never grow cold in learning about. Other notable section include the first chapter that discussed how the Bible is an amazing book. There’s also a Bible Board Game that summarizes the flow of biblical redemptive history and also what one have learned from the book. My girls loved the board game and from time to time even after we completed reading the book they would ask me to play the board game in this book (it is simple enough for my young daughters between ages 4-7 to play with though the youngest needs additional help and guidance).
I recommend it!
Sounds like fun! I appreciate Harvest House. They bravely publish non-compromising books that the major (c)hristian publishers wouldn’t.
Wow glad to hear that! Didn’t know that! Any particular titles that stand out and you have reviewed on your blog?
The link below will show the 8 books available from Harvest House that reference Catholicism. I have read and reviewed the first 7, all excellent resources:
