It is Monday of Thanksgiving week. I’m going to try to schedule some posts this week on questions related to Thanksgiving.
I think its not too early to ask reader: What are you thankful to God about?
Thanksgiving should be not something you do once a year. It should be a regular Christian habit. It should be an important part of our prayers.
So…What are you thankful to God about?
I thankful that I’m saved by grace through faith alone in Christ alone and that I don’t have to go to Hell for forever. And thankful for my brothers and sisters in Christ both physical and online far away and close by.
I’m also thankful for God that after salvation He works to sanctify us
Me too. I’m doing good how are you? My Sunday was good how about yours?
I’m doing well had a busy Sunday preaching at two churches. Has it been a year since you gone to that Reformed church?
That’s good. I think the SBC church I go to is not a reformed church.
Having reach my 65th birthday there’s a lot to be thankful for.

I am thankful for sooooooooo many things, brother! #1 is that the Lord saved a wretch like me! Yes, we need to cultivate a grateful heart all of the time.
So grateful for salvation through Christ. Sad to think some people on one of side of their mouth would say this and the next moment betray the Gospel by saying people are good, focus on self-esteem and self-worth and affirm groups as Christians that preach another Gospel. Which makes us grateful for Christians who share the Gospel and it’s rightful implications.
Yes I agree I hear people I know say people are good and the unsaved world talks about self esteem, self care etc we as Christian’s are to die to self take up our cross and follow Him. Just on the local news yesterday or today I think talked about self care it’s all about self.
Amen, brother!
Thankful for you and ministry. I pray for God to bless you daily and multiply your witness for mighty King Jesus.
Like the brethren, I am SO thankful for my forgiveness, justification, and salvation in Jesus Christ. And would you allow me to be flippant for a moment? Way, way secondarily, I am also thankful for electricity, gas, plumbing, and hot water!
Salvation, Family, and Friends!
Reblogged this on RG's 2 Cents Studios.
Anesthesia and indoor plumbing, to name just two. 🙂 MOST important, that Jesus was willing to die for my sins!
I am thankful to God for everything! Happy early Thanksgiving!!
Thankful for the arrival of the Pilgrims and the thousands of Puritans that followed establishing the reformed church in America. My own tradition is Presbyterian.
