The Trinity is an important doctrine.
Here’s a series I did responding to certain objections against the Trinity that I never got around to compiling in one post as a table of contents until now.
For more on the Trinity check out ” Seventeen Sessions on the Trinity! Audios and Notes.”

I’m not sure we can understand everything about our God.
Thank you for listing these all in one place, brother!
You’re welcome. I just prayed for you again this morning for everything to be well
Thank you for praying, my friend! I pray for you and your family daily, but is there anything specific I could be praying about?
Those who oppose the Trinity, normally don’t like all of the Word, but then they are not the only ones in that boat today.
You’re right. Anti-Trinitarians aren’t the only ones who don’t like all the full counsel of God’s Word. May we all also be watchful of handling the Scripture properly, myself included. How are you doing Jerry?
I’m doing well. Thanks Jim. And you are correct. We are all responsible for abiding the truth of the word.
There is an ever growing movement to replace the hypo-static union christology with the Gnostic kenotic christology. The promoters deny Christ’s 2 natures thus they distort the trinity. The NAR, among others, for example teaches that Jesus was fully man until after the resurrection. This fits perfectly with Gnostic dualism. Everything that is material/physical is corrupt. Jesus therefore only appeared to be physical. Gnostic lite is still heretical. Paul took this topic apart in 4 epistles, demonstrating its danger to biblical Christianity.
Good point on the influence of Gnostic tendencies in false teachings today from NAR to even those who object to Christ’s incarnation. Hope you are doing well brother T.I?
Thank you.
You’re welcome! There’s so many attacks on God’s Word not just with the skeptics I normally write posts on refuting alleged Bible contradictions. There’s also those from the cults. I hope this would be helpful for someone out there, that’s my prayer.
Have a blessed day Maw Maw.
You also.
Wow. Now this is really great. Thanks. We need to be able respond to the objections about the Trinity.
Thanks for this, SlimJim! We see the doctrine of the Trinity increasingly under assault these days. Making the waters even muddier, there’s major pseudo-christian sects that teach an orthodox Trinity, but deny the depravity of man and the salvific office of God the Son by insisting souls can and must merit their own salvation to some degree.
I’ve even seen Roman Catholic apologist say you need Rome and Church Tradition to have the Trinity. Have you encountered this in your current book analysis? I think the more I grow in the Word the more I see Scripture is where the Trinity originate!
No, I haven’t seen Catholic apologists claim the Trinity is more apparent in the RCC, it’s not surprising.

Reposted this because it’s an excellent resource and added the link to it on my “Christian Resources” page under Trinity, much appreciated!
Great Post SlimJim!
As I have mentioned before The Trinity is under attack more than ever. Christian radio/TV air a number of anti-Trinitarians, such as Ronald L. Dart, Irvin Baxter, and so on. SALEM Christian Radio, Crawford Christian Broadcasting, and American Christian Network, and others, air a number of these anti-Trinitarians. Matter of fact this evening, I read an outstanding article on a well known Evangelical scholar’s blog, and one comment reference a anti-Trinitarian site, on the birth of Christ. If we as Christians are not sure of a name, or site, spend a few minutes and check it out.
Thank you. I appreciated the opportunity to read a couple of your discussions about the Trinity.
Each one of these responses are very logical and helpful
