2019 is about to be over. A question for bloggers: What is your favorite post that you wrote for 2019?
When I say your favorite post that doesn’t necessarily mean your most popular post. Asking what’s your favorite post you wrote for your blog is not an easy question I bet. After all there can be so many.
For me I think it has got to be “Survey of Minor Prophets Outline Series” Technically it isn’t one posts but a table of contents of twelve other posts. I spent a long time researching for this series and I was so blessed by it and challenged. The Minor Prophets can sometimes be skipped over by the Christian reader!
So what’s your favorite post you wrote in 2019?
I would have to get to you on that one
Good morning brother. Yours is great. I remember it.
Ours is actually a short video we posted of a devotion from one of our summer Interns on being born again.

Blessings!

My favorite one was this one, because it announced the publishing of my first book…
https://theidolbabbler.com/2019/10/26/so-i-just-published-my-first-book/
It was a goal that I had for many years, and now it’s a reality!
For me, it is an easy decision to pick out a most important post from 2019… I wrote a post titled… “Are you a Christian in God’s eyes, or only in your own mind ??”
There are so very many people who say and believe they are Christians…when God has not graced them with salvation, and filled them with the Holy Spirit…
There are also “born again” Christians that are “lukewarm”, that have lost the fire they once had for the Lord… I direct this post to anyone who is not on fire for the Lord, living a “Christ centered”, Spirit filled life…
Blessings in Christ, bruce

Ditto what Mrs Holliman said!
This wasn’t in the top ten of my most popular posts, but I liked my “Emotional Bible Men” post 🙂
Feel free to post a link here, I will check it out!

By far my followers’ favorite was “How To Drive a Writer Crazy,” November 8, with “Undercover Bag Lady” coming in second, June 28.
I remember “How to Drive a Writer Crazy” Thanks for sharing that with me! Feel free to also drop a link for others who want to check it out sister!
Being technologically challenged, I have tried dropping a link that some people told me hadn’t worked for them, that’s why I mentioned the dates they were posted. But just for the heckuvit, here they are:

Please let me know if they work or not. Thanks!
Hi, Ann! I hope you had a nice Christmas! I clicked on both of these links and they worked for me. Not sure how I missed your “How to drive a writer crazy” post! Blessings, Mandy
I always appreciate your in depth Bible studies, Jim! Favorite post? That’s a tough one. I would probably say my favorite was “Worth A Thousand Words.” God bless!
I loved the Minor prophets series.
Yay! I’m glad to hear that. I really enjoyed studying up on it. God’s Word is amazing especially when it is hard to understand and first and after studying it up more it often reveal gold and treasure! It’s unusually cold in Southern California, the near by mountain is snowing here, how’s the weather in Louisiana?
Summer again. rofl
I forget my posts so fast after writing them, I usually read a couple dozen other blogs so that might have something to do with it. I hope you saw my email, brother, 😃
The answer will be: what is my favorite picture from the year? 🙂
I definitely enjoyed your series on the Minor Prophets. Your question riled my curiosity. I went to the My Site control panel and skimmed through the titles of all of the posts that I wrote in 2019, but I couldn’t pick out a favorite; I enjoyed researching and writing so many of them.
I feel the same! There were so many ones that I enjoyed but then I had to pick one and hence the Minor Prophet series since those were the ones that I poured the most time with. I also enjoy writing up refutations of alleged Bible contradictions which you probably noticed…how’s your steps today? I’m at 5488 and after my 40 minute walk I ate two lobster tails with toasts! My wife and daughters know I really love seafood and especially Lobsters so this is a big post-Christmas treat! Took a long time with the late lunch since I had to get them meat out of the lobster tails for the whole family lol; how’s your post-Christmas day going after cleaning out the gutter?
Only 2.8K today! But I left my iPhone in the car when we did a long walk in the cemetery so I’m missing those steps. After the walk and cleaning the gutters I did a lot of reading at working on the laptop. 🛋
Two lobster tails sounds great, better than my beef!
This was an edited version of a previous post. I think it may be one of my most useful, if not actually my favorite: https://youcantrusthim.com/2019/07/20/trusting-god-with-our-departed-childs-eternity/
Hi, Jim! Your minor prophets series was fantastic! Nathan is part of the Body who does not give the Twelve the attention they deserve, much to my chagrin! I also liked your series marriage posts as well as the one’s you did on Psalms. All my posts are a reflection of myself so it is hard for me to choose. I suppose “Planty and the Fishing Pole” or “I Hate ‘You’” are my favorites. Thanks for all the effort you have given your blog and blogging community in 2019. Blessings, Mandy
You should give links to those posts! Thanks for enjoying those series on my blog, good memory!

Jim, certainly I joy all your posts. This is one of my favorites for 2019. Thanks for asking

Hmm… that’s a tough question! One of my favourites is “Revisiting Christmas”.

Since I don’t have my own blog, I would say this post is my favorite:

Thanks for asking. I will respond to the question via a blog post. Suffice to say here that it was a post I made about what I considered the problem of atheists.
Feel free to drop a link either to your original post or the one you plan to write about your favorite post!

Such a good question! I am most proud of “Looking Back to Look Forward” because it pretty much sums up what I have learned in a deep way this year. Basically it’s about finding the balance between responsible foresight and faithfully trusting that nothing is determined by my effort alone.

I enjoyed reading about a couple of the minor prophets from your links. My favorite post for 2019 would be difficult to choose, but “God’s Miracle” was one which related to family and the adoption of a special girl, who is now one of my grandchildren.

You seem like a prolific writer
I go back and forth between progressive and Conservative and your top posts tells me you are more theologically far-right.
Good articles, some are quite long
I think it’s your Greek devotionals
Wonder what you will write in 2022!
The skill and the time taken to complete these articles must have been something xx
