I read a current event article titled “Swiss Airline May Have Dropped Christian Chocolate Company over Its Pro-Life Stance.”
The first few paragraphs of the article stated the following:
Swiss Airlines will no longer give sweet treats made by the Christian company Läderach.
According to Life Site News, Swiss Airlines ended its partnership with Läderach in November. The chocolate treats will be phased out by April 2020.
Läderach has provided the airline with chocolate boxes for more than 10 years.
Swiss Magazine Beobachter, says the contract may have ended because the chocolate maker has long supported pro-life rights and marriage between a man and woman.
Swiss Airlines also employs many members of the LGBT community, the magazine reported
The part that stood out to me was this portion:
Läderach chocolate company’s CEO Johannes Läderach is also president of the Swiss branch of Christianity for Today. The group advocates for the protection of a Christian life and education.
“I understand it if people value a woman’s right to choose more than an unborn child’s right to life. But I ask for understanding for my opinion,” Johannes said. I’m allowed to have a different opinion.”
Johannes’ father, Jürg, serves on the Christianity for Today board and he also serves with the pro-life group, March for Life.
Johannes also said that there have been acts of vandalism at seven of the chocolate stores.
Vandalism. So much for tolerance.
Sadly this isn’t just something that’s only in Europe. In the past I have also blogged about The Frightening Hatred of Pro-Homosexual advocates against Chick Fil A. Many other examples could be multiplied. My own church was also vandalized by an atheist who was arrested. See Tolerance? Church Vandalized.
As I wrote elsewhere in the blog my experience is to beware of some (not all) who talks so much about tolerance; some of them in the name of tolerance end up being the most intolerant out there.
Reblogged this on a simple man of God.
We need to fasten our seatbelts, it is going to be a bumpy ride for followers of Jesus.

If the men of Sodom persisted even after being literally blinded by God, then today’s LGBTQX lobby — including the “Christian” Left – will never stop. Do not cater to them under any circumstances. It will never be enough.
I never want to lose my angst for such news – it is a devilish spirit that punishes life lovers. What a precursor for global persecution, the Body of Christ need be strong in faith and His word.
Press on brother Slimjim!
Amen Christians must be strong in times like this. I hope you are doing well sister?
Yes, I am, thanks for asking!

We live in very troubling times. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20, NIV).
The irony seems to be lost on them, as they cry for tolerance and refuse to tolerate any who disagree.
Our God is not tolerant of Evil.
Indeed that is true. May we continue to look to Jesus in these troubling times
Amen.

The age of tolerance has become nearly intolerable.
We have been told that right will be wrong and wrong will be right.
Thanks for this Jim! I find it very interesting that every time I try to share it on twitter (even from the original article), they give me an error message. Think I’ll post the link personally and see what happens.
Nope. For some reason, they are discarding all my tweets. Looks suspicious…
Finally sent it to twitter. They made it look like the temporary suspension was a mistake so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt…
So it just worked for you right now? Right now my twitter account doesn’t allow me to post anything and everything I retweeted the last hour is gone…
Hmmm… that looks even more suspicious…
“In the last days perilous times shall come”. We must stand firm till the end, looking to Jesus.
Amen we must stand firm! How was evangelism?
We had a great day sharing on Friday. We are learning the “three circles” evangelism as a basic outreach.
Thanks for pointing out the irony of the situation. Relativism, tolerance, and plurality are the idols of unbelievers, but they are absolutely intolerant of the Christian view. One can foresee this situation getting very bad down the road with mounting pressure against faithful pastors and congregations to cave.
I think the pressure has increased a lot the last ten years; wonder what the future holds. I imagine your area is pretty liberal too…are you working on drafts for the blog right now? Seems kinda early for a Saturday!
Yeah, it’s very liberal here. Gov. Cuomo likes to brag that NY is the most progressive state in the union. What he purposely fails to mention is that many are leaving because of the lack of jobs.
Yeah, I’m about to start my draft for next Friday’s rebuttal of the Catholics apologist’s rebuttal. Those always require a lot of work. Have good sleep, night owl!
I’ve often wondered how much of an impact this silly virtue signaling has on a company’s bottom line. It’s good fodder for an interesting headline or two but in a week no one will even remember. And, the chocolate company got a bunch of free advertising out of it.
Anyway, good post, Jim.

Ah, yes, the “tolerance” crowd: so tolerant, no other viewpoint is allowed.
I imagine thing like this is also happening in your country?
Not to the same extent, but yes.
Fellow Christians do not like me, because I have a habit of speaking the truth about us Christians and Christianity and our hypocrisy on the subject of tolerance.
We demand we be tolerated, while we ourselves? Fail to tolerate others. We decry the radical extremists of other religions, especially Islam, while we fail to call out and decry the radical extremists of our religion Christianity.
We have intolerant Christians during Christmas for example. They demand that private companies like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts put Merry Christmas on their cups, etc. We demand that all towns and cities display Christmas displays of Jesus in chreches, but are intolerant if any other religious, or non-religious group wants to add their idea of the Holiday season to a chreche? Well we Christians meltdown and scream no.
Historically? Protestant and Catholic Christians were intolerant towards Pagans, Jews, Native Americans, Africans and many others. Heck, honestly? In our intolerance of them? Of our thinking we were superior to them? We brutally murdered them, enslaved them, tortured and brutalized them. And we as Christians? Have to in fact? Recognize this, accept it, and change it to where this never happens again in the name of Jesus and Christianity.
The intolerance of some Christians? Are extremely hypocritical. We have thousands of Christian pastors spreading hate and demanding death, based on the OT teachings against homosexuality, but the OT also condemns adultery as a death penalty punishment. These same Christians will demand homosexuals be put to death, while stating that the OT rules of putting adulterers to death no longer applies, and some Christians? Even praise adulterers like Donald J Trump as great Christians.
I abide by Jesus greatest commandment to live my life, including loving ALL my neighbors, be they homosexuals, Muslims, Native Americans, Pagans, Jews, or what have you. Jesus taught me to never judge another, for I too will be judged the same. Jesus taught to turn the other cheek and love all your enemies, even praying for them. Jesus taught us the greatest gift we can give to our fellow human being is above all else? Love.
Jesus taught tolerance, even for those who whipped him, beat him, and hung him on the cross, for even he forgave them.
It is far past time? For us who proclaim ourselves followers of Jesus Christ? Stand up to all those who are not true followers of Jesus, who preach hate, intolerance, bigotry, misogyny and death. For these are not the true teachings of Jesus Christ, and these are the people who bring to us True Christians a whole lot of harm, because it is by their intolerance, their failing to actually live Jesus teachings? That brings harm to the rest of us. This is what makes others believe we are all like this. And it is far past time? We show them we are not.
You’ll find almost no-one advocates the death penalty for homosexuality.
True Christians don’t stand up to them? Right, that’s why so many are loving and accepting of LGBT people while criticising their actions, and advocate others do so. Plus, you know, the killers are such a minority – and such a not-so-loud minority – that almost no-one hears of them.
Unlike, say, those who are intolerant of Christians, who at present are a much bigger threat.
The guy is slandering you when you said they are a minority he takes it you say there are none. Amazed at the straw man fallacy he committed. I also think it’s weird he keeps on being presumptive such as thinking you are an American. Interesting huh?
It’s sad.
Don’t say we. You might have meltdown and scream no but I didn’t. Other Christians don’t.
Hello, you write, “I abide by Jesus greatest commandment to live my life, including loving ALL my neighbors, be they homosexuals, Muslims, Native Americans, Pagans, Jews, or what have you. Jesus taught me to never judge another, for I too will be judged the same. Jesus taught to turn the other cheek and love all your enemies, even praying for them. Jesus taught us the greatest gift we can give to our fellow human being is above all else? Love.”
We also know that biblical love abides within the bounds of God’s Word – “And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,” (Phil 1:9). So, our love for our neighbor is to see them come to Christ (salvifically) and to observe all that God has revealed, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matt 28:19-20).
If love is uncritical, isn’t your post un-loving since it is critical of other Christians? So, we would then agree that love must, as Paul puts it, “…about more and more with knowledge and discernment.”
[…] A few days ago I wrote “Anti-Christian latest intolerance: Swiss Christian Chocolate Company.” […]
A good response. Yes there’s some Christian who don’t like Dunkin Donuts but its not hypocritical to point out its wrong for people to vandalize these Swiss Christian family’s chocolate factory. Pointing that out doesn’t mean one is intolerant or support doing bad to others outside the faith.
Interesting point. So we are to cry about Christians places being destroyed. What about all the things and places we Christians have destroyed and continue to destroy to this day?
Let’s take the Native Americans. How would you feel if a Native American went to the cemetary your loved ones are buried in and demand that they get to build a casino over it?
This is what Christians have done and continue to do to Native American burial grounds.
What about all the Pagan temples and the Great Library of Alexandria that Christians destroyed? Hmmm.
Seems when we Christians go out destroying other peoples cultures and places? That is ok, but not when it is done unto us huh?
Again? Maybe it is we Christians reaping back what we have historically sown unto other cultures? Maybe we Christians are having done unto us what we have done unto others to teach us all a lesson?
The LGBT agenda first said its about tolerance and they aren’t trying to impose things on others. Times shows their true agenda.
I’m responding to your comment to me. You obviously have a bitter chip on your shoulder. I said “its not hypocritical to point out its wrong for people to vandalize these Swiss Christian family’s chocolate factory.” In the next sentence I have already said I don’t agree with wrongs done by so called Christians against others. I am sad Great Library of Alexandria was destroyed.
Your reasoning is no good. So because other Christians have done wrong, we can down play the wrong done to these Christians and we cannot talk about that? And we can’t say its wrong to vandalize Christian property? Two wrong doesn’t make a right. Its unbiblical and not proper reasoning that way.
I’m also not American I grow up in a country where true Christians have historically been persecuted.
The days are getting dark but as followers of Christ this is a time for our light to become even brighter. It is easy to conform by doing nothing, not praying, keeping ourselves out of situations, but the word says “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:21 Lord use us to do your will and be in unity to make change.

It is going to be sad for many on Judgment Day. We must continue to be a light 💡 in a dark world.
Tangie sometimes its overwhelming for me to see the hypocrisy of those Christian persecutors but your comment being a light in a dark remind me to continue to love and pray and stand lovingly for truth.
I understand. In this dark world we must remind one another we must be the SON light to stand firmly for truth.

Government has really made іt really easy to persecute Christians the world over with LGBT agenda, Marxism, etc
Did you hear of the leftist Congressional praying praying “amen and awoman?” TThey don’t want Christians to be involved with business or anything…but they don’t mind government intruding in every sphere of life, nothing is sacred, including intrusion into religion
Here’s another for today: Twitter censoring Focus on the Family
As someone who used to buy into critical race theory, I definitely at one point thought a lot of Christians were evil. Looking back it was more so just ignorance. When imagined victimhood is constantly at the forefront of conversations, you’re bound to thinks Christianity is oppressive and therefore should not tolerated. It took me removing myself from worldly unbiblical influences to see I was wrong.
Pride month is a time for that community to persecute Christians
As I read this intolerance towards Christians I got emotional thinking about Christians who will now be in Taliban occupied Afghanistan
Persecution is real even in the west and not just in Afghanistan keeⲣ up the nice work felⅼows.
Persecution goes against the popular mantra: “Life is a beach and then you are done”
Twitter going crazy this week deleting conservatives
Parallel economy is coming
To those who are in Christ we have counted the cost of following Him & it is that in this world we will suffer persecution even unto death!! To be absent from the body is to be with the Lord 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Brother it pisses me off when they say tolerance but they are acting like Thanos
