Thanks, brother! I enjoyed the Cave to the Cross video while driving around this a.m.
Wow driving anywhere in particular this morning? Just got done with our two day church security training so will read your blog when I get back home with my drive!
Had to get a haircut and did some grocery shopping for a few things. We have a second-run movie theater in town. I would rather stay home and read a good book, but my wife enjoys movies now and then so last Saturday we saw “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” about Mr. Rodgers and today we saw “Ford vs. Ferrari” this afternoon. Both were pretty good. I know you’re going to be busy tonight with sermon prep.
Reblogged this on My Logos Word.
What a great set of links, thanks for sharing these SlimJim ☺️.
Lots of deep apologetics’ stuff here.
You should write something on evidence and Presuppositional apologetics sometime.
Thanks Jim for including my blog posts in your incredible presuppositional links. It’s amazing to have my thoughts along side such wonderful content to which you link.
Thanks for the links, Jim! I actually came across a totally different Christian message in the “Matrix”. Rather than write a wall in your comments section, I’ll try to remember to post it in my blog.
Could you give a link to your post here as a comment once you have it written so others will also get to read it? Looking forward to it!
Sure thing, Jim!
Thank you for these very helpful and equipping links.
You’re welcome, thank you for reading them! If you can pray that tomorrow (Tuesday) I will be able to go evangelize, last week there was a last minute legitimate cancel from my evangelism partner
I will be praying.
I don’t think the Bible tells us to just give evidence to nonbelievers. Rather we give the Word!
According to Romans 1:18-22, God doesn’t believe in atheists.
Presuppositional apologetics believes in God’s Word as authoritative for believing: We must surrender ourselves to the authority of Holy Scripture, for it can neither mislead nor be misled.
—Augustine
“If one does not make human knowledge wholly dependent upon the original self-knowledge and consequent revelation of God to man, then man will have to seek knowledge within himself as the final reference point. Then he will have to seek an exhaustive understanding of reality. He will have to hold that if he cannot attain to such an exhaustive understanding of reality he has no true knowledge of anything at all. Either man must then know everything or he knows nothing. This is the dilemma that confronts every form of non-Christian epistemology”
― Cornelius Van Til
A Big AMEN! I’m Presuppositional Because Christ is The Wisdom of God, He Created Everything.
