I saw this meme shared on Facebook.
The rest of the page where its from was also filled with these kind of memes.
I saw some of these memes point out problems that was copied word for word from the Skeptic Annotated Bible. It seems the skeptics who believe that Jesus never was real and was a Copy Cat myth often have a notorious habit of copy cat of mistakes from the Skeptic Annotated Bible.
I realized some of these alleged Bible contradictions they pointed out I have refuted in our blog. You can check out our Collection of Posts Responding to Bible Contradictions.
As for the the passage that the meme referenced check out our response in Resolving Bible Difficulty: Jephthah’s daughter.
It confirmed to me that there’s a need for our posts refuting these attacks on the Bible.
No question and thank you Jim for your faithfulness in refuting these false accusations. Blessings!
Thank you for this post.
Thank you for your comments and for reading the link to the explanation of this passage that the meme misappropriated as an ax to grind against the Bible. Are you guys still evangelizing Friday? I am not for today Tuesday since campus is closed for fear of virus
We still be evangelising as we are in the street. The only thing that will stop us is if we go on lock down .
It’s crazy things change overnight,
Our pastor sent us a message today, we are not to hug or shake hands in Sundays at church so as not to offend those that live in fear of contamination.
At the moment we are gathering on Sundays as our congregation is only small. But if the government drops the figure below one hundred our church will close.
Sad to see this, but it’s predictable that the unsaved would latch on to and perpetuate Wells’ reason-defying cherry-picking.
Yeah it’s incredible the cherry picking. I also think it’s ironic they call themselves free thinkers but just simply cut and paste from The Skeptic Annotated Bible with even the same question phrased (and even Steve’s bad grammar!). Ironic isn’t it? I should call them cut and paste skeptics
You’ve proven that Steve Wells’ scholarship is so pitiful. Copying his stuff reminds me of credulous people who read one flat-earth article and then try to convert everyone else.
This is a fallen world where the “prince of the world” has to do what it could, in a limited time, so it is expected that there are those followers who will make such false accussations.
Thanks for your faithfulness in proclaiming the truth about Jesus.
Keep on refuting!

I notice the meme is from “Nonsense from the Bible” but this is nonsense from those attacking the Bible.
Yessss!
Reblogged this on My Logos Word.
That’s crazy!!!
Yes it is. Gotta refute the errors these guys spread. They ought to be ashamed of just cut and paste from the skeptics annotated Bible instead of reading the Bible for themselves amen?
Thanks.
You’re welcome Maw Maw! Was wondering if grocery shopping is an issue with you with all the virus thing going on?
No. God is taking care of me thru my children. Hope you are good.
You do a great job with bible contradictions. You certainly help bring clarity to those bible passages. God bless you!
Thank you for the kind words; is there nervousness with virus up in England?
It’s like the world is coming to an end😂🤣🤣. My 3yrs old emptied 2 toilet rolls in the toilet yesterday and I almost cried. My younger brother’s wedding which is supposed to happen in 4 weeks have been postponed indefinitely. It is not good but God is in control
This is a great example of why I say you can’t always just read a few verses out of The Bible and think you’ve grasped the whole true meaning.
Thank you for the comments! You’re exactly right we must read the Bible in its context of what comes before and after and also the flow of redemptive history. How are things in SC, is there a general concern for this virus in your neck of the wood and also groceries being empty?
Well, last I checked we have 47 cases and 1 death here. The shelves for TP and other staples get empty fast but soap is plentiful. You’d think folks would be more concerned about washing their hands but the ironic twist is that during a snow storm, South Carolinians will wipe out the shelves for bread and milk, but the TP shelves stay full. Strange folks here in the southern Appalachians.
How are things in your neck of the woods, Jim? Hope all is well with y’all.

One day the skeptics is going to discover God ought not be mocked nor His words misinterpreted and slandered.
Reblogged this on a simple man of God and commented:
Yep.
Thanks Jim for sharing. False teachers are out there as your post speaks the truth.

100% agreed!
Some skeptics need to learn to shut up
Glad you are doing apologetics on hee
This is a frequent one the atheist brings up. Of course their interpretation doesn’t go into context and original language like how you do it
