Are you looking for a children’s picture and story book on the Bible’s account of Jesus’ death and resurrection? This is one that’s worth your time and money.
What stands out to me in this book is the beautiful illustration that has a unique style of beautiful landscape background and details of the land including plants and animals. Yet it was illustrated in a way that you also see what’s the main characters are doing. After reading to my daughters my youngest asked me what was my favorite illustration which I think presupposes she enjoyed the drawing and wanted to know what I thought about it also. That led to a conversation I opened up of which pictures did they enjoy as well as what they see is going on and why did they enjoyed that specific picture. A good conservation about Jesus followed. I’m thankful that I read this book to my girls and I thank God for the conversations I have with my kids.
The story began with what various people stating what Jesus meant for them and this group include children, outcasts and the sick. Then it proceed to Palm Sunday with Jesus entering Jerusalem. I am glad they also included in the story Jesus turning over tables of the money changers since my kids had questions about that and I taught them about worship, truth and the right motivation in worshipping God, etc. Of course the moving part of the story is the death and resurrection of Christ.

Nice book of the little ones
I think kids (and grandkids) will enjoy it and it focuses on Jesus! I try to review kids books on the blog from time to time and not just theological stuff. Also thanks for sharing our blog on your Twitter!
My pleasure.
Thinking about this for the grandkids too
Thanks for reviewing this. Sounds like an excellent book for kids!
You’re welcome thank you for reading this; working on my Bible contradiction post right now; how was your sleep?
Argh! Up at 4 a.m. The noisy humidifier my wife put in the bedroom for the dog woke me up. Hope you’re off to a good start today!
Thanks for the insight. Sounds great for the grandbabies.
Glad to see there are resources like this to help children with the basics of Christianity.
I need to read your book to the kids next! How are you holding up this week?
Seemed to be battling depression for a few days and was off the internet for awhile. Doing a little better now; thanks for asking Jim.
Love the pictures! Thanks for sharing your review SlimJim ☺️
