Just received word that one of the churches I have taught overseas at this moment right now have all their members and elders/pastors detained and interrogated by authorities. I want to ask if you can pray for these persecuted Christians. This is very heavy for me to hear.

Praying for them, Jim. Nothing is impossible with the Triune GOD!
Thank you for your prayers. This is in a country not far from you. I think you can guess where it’s at. Thank you again so much for your prayers. How is your cold?
Yes, it is notorious when it comes to Christian and religious persecution. Thank GOD, it is ok now (i.e. cold).
We are praying for them!
Blessings.
Yes sir! I am afraid we have let down the banner. We should pray for them daily!
Wow thanks for dropping by here and praying for this. God bless you brother you are right. I need to pray for the persecuted believers daily
I will be praying for them, brother.
Thank you this means a lot. Overall your fourth went well? Do you still hear fireworks even it’s banned where you are at?
Our 4th was pretty quiet. Just me and my wife. Firecrackers were poppin’ at 9 p.m. when I went to bed, it quieted down after that. Our dog’s anxiety usually goes through the roof when she hears thunder of firecrackers, but she stayed calm last night. How did your 4th and fireworks adventure go?
Praying for them Pastor Jim.
Thank you; last I heard they still have detained 4 elder, an intern and a member. Thank you for praying, how was church for you this Sunday?
Will keep them in prayer Pastor Jim.
We went to a church far away from where I live as our local churches are still closed . The pastor there made me cry . Something very special about him . Love and passion for the Lord and a caring for the people under his care I have not experienced in along time .
How was your Lord’s Day? Probably still Sunday where you are .
I rejoice that you preached on persecution . Our persecuted brothers and sisters are
often forgotten by the church in the west .
Praying for them, and understanding that we may one day become them.
That’s true. We got to realize it can happen here; thank you for your prayers. How was your Fourth of July and this weekend?
Slow weekend, but blessed. My wife has compromised immune system, so we are advised to stay in again. So no church today, but had worship at home. God is good, thanks for asking. Hope you had a great holiday and weekend Jim.

[…] Pray for a Persecuted Church Right now […]
Father god…Please…Your people are in great need.
Praying
Praying, and passing it on.
Thanks for sharing. I frequently pray those who are persecuted for their faith, and I give it greater emphasis.
🙏🏻❤️
Reblogged this on a simple man of God and commented:
Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
Hebrews 13:3, ESV
Let us lift our brothers and sister in Christ up to our Father.
I’m so sorry, Slim. That is a heavy things. I’m praying for those being persecuted by authorities because of their faith and praying for churches who are under attack from their political leadership.
Praying for them now. May they have the “peace that passes understanding” and boldness in declaring the Truth. And may their interrogators’ hearts be softened and their eyes opened to receive salvation.
Sorry to hear about that. I literally was talking about the Christian persecution in the world last night with a coworker. They were surprised and didn’t believe how many Christians have died since 1900. I pray they get through this and their faith is strengthened and their witness is great to others in that country.
That sounds like an evangelistic conversation you had last night. Thank you for your prayers. Right now they still have detained four of those elders. Your continued prayers are appreciated. Are you working your shift tonight?
Nope. My wife and I are enjoying a much needed vacation with some family
In Prayer.

I think Paul Washer is asking for prayer for the same church:

Nothing is impossible! With God all can be accomplished
Amen. Let us pray for these pastors arrested by the government
Praying indeed.
Seems God answered when we pray together worldwide!

Thank you for your prayers sister, that means a lot and if I ever see them again I want to let them know you and many others in the US is praying for them! Anything I can pray for you?
So kind of you brother.
Actually yes. The past few days, I’ve been pretty down because a very special person in my life decided to leave and just walk out of my life. I’m taking it very hard.
