We have quite a stream of readers of our blog from Southern California and I thought it would be helpful to post this.
This is courtesy of Craig Huey of Election Forum (HT).
I have gotten less political over the years and while I do not believe salvation or the kingdom of God is achieved by political means nevertheless I believe Christians must be informed so that when they practice the privilege of voting in the United States they vote not against biblical principles but as much as possible consistent with it. Over the years California legislature has become increasingly tyrannical against Christians values in the name of “tolerance.”
So here’s the voter’s guide for Los Angeles County for November 3rd, 2020:
Ratings: Every candidate is considered after thorough research; we also have a questionnaire for candidates to complete. Here is our rating system:
: The best candidate. Our strongest endorsement.
: Very good.
: Acceptable.
: Vote only to prevent worse candidate(s) from winning.
: Terrible. Do Not Vote. All your other votes will count.

What a great idea to publish this. May God’s will be done!
Thank you! Is your area and CTC still have a lot of restrictions with the virus?
Yes. We are in NC. We are still in a “stay at home” order. Mandatory mask order. With social distancing we can run at about half capacity for a program. We are still doing much online as I think people are just nervous about being around others. God is good. Our financial support has been stable. We have about 20 staff on premise all the time. We have 7 buildings and 40 acres to maintain whether anyone is here for a program or not.
Thanks for asking.
Things have gone completely beyond any sense of social justice, and the movement has turned into an anti-American mob, even burning Bible and churches. The way things are going we need to vote and vote out those who want to defund the police and demonize all officers and police agencies. Its devolving into hate filled violence and I cannot get behind that.
Christians can’t be supporting lawlessness and those who enable this. Goes against Romans 13.
While I don’t live in California, I was curious about the process being used in determining recommendations.
It seems its based upon a questionnaire they sent out to the candidates which one can access here: https://www.electionforum.org/candidate-questionnaires/? Hope that helps! Hope you are also doing well! With all this I want to say my hope is not in votes but praying for a spiritual revival in our country.
I wonder if there’s going to be a big backlash against those whose radical leftists agenda prohibit them from speaking out against rioters
It’s approaching almost a hundred days of riot. I hope and pray there would be peace on Election Day.
Time to vote out the riot enablers
I’m going to use this. These are dark days
Wow your post covers election too!
Reblogged this on Guam Christian Blog and commented:

Wish someone was doing something like this for upstate SC!
Thanks for the guide! I always consult it each election! Very helpful!!!
Very helpful, thank you! I’ve used this for years and like how straightforward it is.
