Thank you for, these good resources and I love the pic.😊
You are welcome Crissy wow prayed again for the Friday evangelism that God would use the seeds planted. How it go let me know sister Crissy
We had problems with one in the team today. So we had to end earlier than usual . 😔
This one looks interesting. “Looking for a Lay-Level Class on the Origins of the NT Canon? Here’s my 6-Part Video Series with @Ligonier”
Blessings.
Michael Kruger is probably one of the best living apologist on the topic of the Canon today. Concerning the subject of leadership, wow a 30 part lesson is incredible! That’s some serious labor of love Michael. I have no time table and I’m always thinking of future posting of resources. God bless you Michael with all that you do with CTC
Thanks for you kind comments. It is a labor of love for sure. I have spent 50 years in the marketplace in different leadership roles. I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly of it all. Reframing this as “Leadership the Jesus Way” allowed me a different framework than most leadership development programs.
I went through all 4 gospels and discovered over 200 relevant scriptures. Then I did exegetical deep dives to create the presentations and ultimately the videos. The good news is there are 30 of the them. The challenge is there are over 170 more to do. The bad news is the video production could be much better than it is.
Let me see if I can get a few of them up for you sometime soon. That would help to regain some traction on all of this.
Sorry if this more than you want to know.
Thank you for these links, Jim! GOD bless you and your family!
You are welcome! Thank you for your love and support brother Gersom. Magandang gabi! Hope I said it right…
Yes, Jim, that is correct! Right! That is what we do as Christians, we encourage each other with the LORD.
Math requiring God? What a concept! Not what I normally think of.
Thanks for another presup listing! I enjoyed listening to 3.) Cave to the Cross’ Ep. 93 – Tactics – Just The Facts, Ma’am while working on the back lawn this afternoon. I also listened to the 2nd hour of the “Refutting Bertrand Russell” video from those three T-501 eggheads. 😊 Great presup point about Russell spouting off about “progress,” which was the drumbeat of Western Society back in Russell’s prime. Progress according to what? Yup, it’s all about “regress” here in Western New York!
Wow good comment Tom! Thanks for going through these links and also I’m immensely encouraged to hear you finished the 2nd hour of the refutation of Bertrand Russell! Believe it or not I see on social media people wanting it to go much deeper in the sense of covering some of the more philosophical aspect of Russell such as his philosophy of language and how it affects the foundation of Russell’s case for atheism or against Christianity. But I think there’s enough there to refute Russell. Good point you brought out from that talk about the dilemma of Russell talking about “progress.” Speaking of regress, I wonder if after 2020 if my state is going to head towards the same direction as Western NY. Also brother are you working backyard in terms of mowing the grass or the dreaded task of gathering all them leaves that I know is backbreaking around this time…
Thanks, my friend! The Zoom discussion of Russell fired up some slumbering brain neurons.
RE: Decline of New York State
I just checked Amazon to see if there was a book out on the topic, but amazingly didn’t find one. The Buffalo-Rochester-Syracuse corridor was an economic powerhouse in the 1960s, but 60 years later it’s an economic disaster zone. The radical decline would make an interesting book, but few would want to read such a downer. One would think businesses would also migrate out of CA because of the similarly high taxes. But the six months of snow AND high taxes was a lethal combo for WNY.
RE: Leaves
It’s the “in between” stage right now.The grass still needs cutting and the oak leaves are just beginning to fall, so I mow with the bagger attachment, which means a lot of stopping and emptying the bag. When the grass stops growing in 3-4 weeks, I’ll use the leaf blower exclusively.
