Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
It has been a crazy year. Sometimes it seems our life is a little microsm of things going on in 2020 with the news. Ministry has been crazy (in a good way). But we have many reasons to be thankful to God! Grateful fo God’s grace to our family. Something I’m especially thankful is our salvation made possible through the Father’s Plan, the Son’s sacrifice and the Spirit’s conviction and regeneration!
Happy Thanksgiving frae Scotland my friend and brother. “Long may yer lumb reak!”
Thank you dear brother Alan! Going to show my ignorance…what does that quote mean?
It is a Scottish blessing usually quoted at Hogmanay wishing future prosperity (in the true sense! ) to the household. “Long may your chimney smoke” is an English interpretation.
Happy Thanksgiving
Brother, wishing you and your family a stunning Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for your ministry and faithfulness to the good news of Jesus. “Big Up” King Jesus.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING Jim, Nancy, and kids! Thanking the Triune GOD for His blessings, love, and salvation! Spare some turkey 🦃 for me.
Thank you! Thanks for joining in, in spirit with this Thanksgiving. Our family isn’t really big on Turkey so our tradition is we get duck! I love duck more than Turkey; how about you, do you prefer certain meat more than others? I imagine you must like pork?
All kinds of supermarket available meat is fine with me, including pork (as long as it is halal).😉 I’ve eaten the monitor lizard (taste like chicken) with coconut milk in curry. Both turkeys and ducks were my favorite pets back then but I eat both years later. I prefer the crispy roasted duck skin with thin meat than the bland (extended chicken breast) meat of the turkey.🦆
Praise God Kent we never talked about the lizard! Pig I can somewhat handle, lizard no. No disrespect brother! I’m sure Lancaster, PA would have foods/processed meats you wouldn’t care for!!! Jim and Kent, I am thankful for you both! Love and blessings to you and your families!
Actually, I ate it maybe once or twice; one time in 1992 in the province as “rare/exotic” food and maybe the tour guide in Malaysia served us with satay monitor lizard version, as the meat is far tender than that of a chicken and so yummy. A monitor lizard is not as big as a komodo lizard, but it eats chicken too.
Thanks, brother, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! It’s definitely been a crazy year, but all of the chaos helps us to appreciate what’s most important, our relationship with the Lord. I’m grateful for you and your ministries. Enjoy the duck feast today!
Amen, brother!! Amen!!!
Wow you know we have duck than Turkey! I’m grateful for your friendship on WordPress all these years. Also thankful for you speaking truth. What are your plans for thanksgiving?
Thanks, brother! I’m grateful for your friendship over the years as well. Thanks for your good counsel and encouragement! Yup, I do remember you mentioning having duck in years past, but I also peeked at some of the comments! Today, Corinne and I will be sharing a turkey breast dinner with all of the fixin’s and some phone calls with our sons and some football playing in the background. What have you got going on besides watching football? 🤣
Hallelujah! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, too!

Thanksgiving Blessings to you and your family.
Have a blessed thanksgiving! Are there others (family and friends) you are having Thanksgiving with this year??
Yes…I went to my sons, about 12 miles away. His wife is office manager for a nursing home so have to be careful since she is around sickness daily. I take zinc, vit. c and turmeric as well as drink hot tea as soon as I come home to wash any thing foreign down .
I forgot to say this is the first meal we have shared since last Christmas.
Happy Thanksgiving, Jim.

Here is a Thanksgiving greeting from my brother in Christ, SlimJim!
Indeed! We continue to see God’s grace at work, with blessings running over. Despite the challenges of isolation, my wife and I have much to be thankful for.
Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, and I added a couple of your books from what would be “tomorrow’s” post to my Christmas wish list.
Thankful for 2020, given how 2021 seems so crazy thus far.
