Our “This Sunday” series will be another a Corona Virus edition and Things you can do on Church on Sunday in 2021. For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Encourage Someone that God is Working in 2021.
Yesterday I wrote “God is Working in 2020-2021.” I think its worth reading. Not that everything is totally rosy for its not. Still God is working in some ways. More importantly when I look at those stats I’m not under any illusion that Satan is at work too trying to take away the seed of God’s Word that is planted too. Still I do believe some will be saved during these times. Knowing this should stir us to have hope of God’s Work and His promise of the advance of the Gospel and the Church prevailing in these dark times. But this encouragement should also lead us to our responsibility of praying, evangelizing and disciple others and growing for oneself in sound doctrines and the Word to disciple and evangelize others.
So go ahead and read that article and encourage someone that no doubt God is working. Also share from your own experience of what you see what God is doing. I’m not asking you to share in a subjective way but being conscience of God’s Word interpreting what you are seeing of God’s work in others, etc.
The Lord knows there’s many discouraged who can be encouraged with a bigger picture perspective that’s biblical.

Amen! So true: “The Lord knows there’s many discouraged who can be encouraged with a bigger picture perspective that’s biblical.”
Blessings for a stunning 2021!
Continuing to encourage people through the Word of GOD and praying to GOD for their salvation as well.
Reblogged this on a simple man of God.
Amen, encouragement.
Thanks! Amen! Have a blessed Lord’s Day for He is Risen!
Truth.
Thanks for the encouragement, brother! Some believers are ALL ABOUT focusing on the circumstances (including multitudes of conspiracy theories).
You’re welcome! Yeah there’s some Christians focus on Conspiracy theories some of our church members I have been ministering to are dealing with family members or friends who are Christians that are getting into conspiracy theories. How is your shift going?
RE: shift
Thanks! Not as much walking today. The plant is shifting to a new computer system this weekend so a lot of training and getting the bugs out.
How is your Lord’s day going?
God does some of His best work in dark times. Not that He can’t work in the good times, too, but sometimes when everything is going well, we tend not to be paying attention … 🙄
As C.S. Lewis pointed out, God whispers to us in our pleasures but shouts at us in our pain. 😉
Good point with your comment. I was thinking of your point: “but sometimes when everything is going well, we tend not to be paying attention …” I was thinking of how after this COVID situation is over people will downplay the trials they had as not that bad and they can then “forget” God. So I’m praying God’s Word advances as that’s the thing that will bring about any lasting change! Writing this post and yesterday’s post made me more zealous to preach for church today, knowing what’s at stake with people’s soul! How was your Lord’s Day down in Florida? =)
Excellent! The church service started with the blowing of the shofar, and from that moment on I felt I was in heaven. – happy tears!
As if that weren’t enough, this afternoon eleven people gave their testimonies before being baptized in the Gulf. – *GLORY!*
As for “after this COVID situation is over,” I’m not one who is looking forward to things being “back to normal.” Normal is SO overrated. I want the changes that have taken place in all of us to transform us and the world around us permanently.
