Our “This Sunday” series will be another a 2021 edition with all the unique things during this year. Pray for Texas with the Effect of the Extreme Cold.
The winter has gotten overly cold and it has snowed so much that it stopped electric power, water and other utilities. I’m communicating to a few brothers in the Lord who lives in Texas and I think its worth praying for the people in Texas this Sunday.
Pray for the people to be able to have their powers restored, gases operating, water working and people being able to have other things function. Its kind of surreal that this is happening to Texas.
Amen. I join with you. It has been devastating.
Blessings.
Amen brother
Thanks for your prayers! That means a lot! Has it also been unusually cold for you guys this winter in Scotland?
We certainly had more snow this year as well very low temperatures. But we are quite used to it. The worst we had was the notorious “Beast From The East” storm of 2018.

Praying for the affected families of the disaster and extreme hazard in Texas. Also praying that these climatic changes will not be worsen in the years to come. Blessings to you and your family!
Also praying for the responders and recovery efforts.
Thank you for your prayers. I have a friend that has lost power for couple of days and have been using charcoal to cook. Hope powers be restored soon. Blessings to you Kent, hope your work on streamlining the site has been productive this weekend!
Well, it is time to be aware on the effects of climate change and adapt from it.
Reblogged this on a simple man of God.
Praying for Texas as well.
Thanks Andy to know that you are praying for Texas from the UK is rather touching to hear brother!
You’re very welcome. It’s my pleasure. May God bless Texas and the entirety of the United States
Thanks for the good exhortation. Here in ROC we went without heat and power for one week in cold temps after a bad ice storm in 1991. It was a struggle.
Wow I can’t imagine a whole week! Did you guys also not have water? I would have a hard time. It makes me wonder how people live in New England area and New York in the 1600-1900s
We had water, thankfully. I remember going to bed each night with multiple layers of pajamas. So cold. Yeah, people wish for the simpler times but aren’t knowledgeable about how difficult daily routines were back in those days. I’ve often grumbled about why my Polish immigrant grandparents came to New York instead of a more moderate climate but that’s where the jobs were back then.

Praying for Texas. After a week without power or running water, my son and his cats are in a car, on the road, on the way here. He is the third refugee to fly back to the nest. (I’ll get around to posting more about this sometime.) J.
Praying.
Grateful to hear you are praying too. How is your friend the one in that state?
She is doing well praise, God! Craig from Crosswise says he is doing ok as well, thank God!
The snow and ice is not melting. Some say that is caused from chems in atmosphere.
Wow that is crazy; do you have family or loved ones and friends in Texas?
Yes. Cousin and Stepson and Family.
I’ve been moved to tears, watching the news about Texas. We live in New Mexico, about a forty minute drive from the Texas border. My husband is a disabled Marine corps veteran and gets most of his medical care at a Veterans Hospital in Texas. He had multiple medical appointments this week that had to be cancelled because of this terrible weather and power outages. We were lucky, we only lost power for about an hour, total.
Linda thank you for sharing. Is your husband able to get any meds or medical help he need? Or is that going to be delayed? This is rather sad to hear. Have they rescheduled appointments or they are in the dark about that since their systems are down with no power?
Thankfully, my husband already had a good supply of his medications here at home. Most of his appointments have been rescheduled.
In early January, my husband was discovered to have prostate cancer. Because he had 3 medically documented heart attacks approximately 20+ years ago, the oncologist referred him to a cardiologist for a complete cardiac workup, before determining which type of treatment would be best. After a basic EKG, the cardiologist scheduled a number of more indepth tests, including a nuclear scan. All of those tests had to be cancelled and rescheduled.
There’s a lot going on, but as of now, it looks like the delay won’t be more than a couple of weeks at most. The oncologist determined that Stan’s prostate cancer is stage 2, so this small delay shouldn’t be a problem.
Praying.!
Thank you for your prayers! How are things with you this Monday?
Going well. Thank you for asking.
Anything I can pray for you for ?
Amen! Thoughts and prayers walk with the many impacted by the weather and its effect in Texas.
