Sound Christian apologetics have gotten international. I enjoyed this discussion with these two brothers and apologists.
These two brothers are Jordan Ravanes and Arne Verster. These two are dear brothers to me and I’m grateful for their ministry.
Jordan is from the Philippines and his ministry is called The Christian Worldview Project. His Facebook page can be accessed here.
Arne is from the South Africa and his ministry is called Apologetics Central. His Facebook page can be accessed here.
This is a good discussion to understand better Presuppositional Apologetics and also some illustrations of what Presuppositional apologetics is trying to do.
Love the closing prayer in Afrikaans!
Here is the video:
Thanks for the great referral. I’ll be checking them out for sure.
Blessings!
I look forward to watching this later today! Thanks Jim.
I’ll check the links and video out, thanks Jim!
This looks to be one of many videos that they have produced. All of their output seems to be quite extensive.
Arne Verster’s presentation of apologetics was very clear. I am still learning this, but I did recognize Jason Lisle and I think I followed his arguments.
Thank you for this!!!
You’re welcome! Can’t believe it’s Friday already! Anything from Scripture you have been reading lately?
It’s funny that you ask this! Do you follow a yearly Bible reading plan. For 2021 I am following the M’Cheyne Bible reading plan and I do not think I like it. You read 1 chapter from: the Torah/Pentateuch, Wisdom, Gospel and Epistles. I have been feeling really disconnected from God in my devotional time and I think it’s because the plan jumps around too much. I am days behind in my Exodus reading because I am taking time to study each plague and how each plague defeated one of Egypt’s god/goddess. I don’t know if you have ever read Ryken’s Exodus: Saved for God’s Glory, but it is excellent!
Thanks, brother! I’m going to queue this up for my work commutes.
You’re welcome! Praying for your shift today to go well! How is it going so far? I think these two were trying to make it as understandable as much as possible for everyone which I enjoyed!
Thanks for your prayers! Taking a short break. Just forty minutes to go. Still doing a lot of training and some people are much better trainers than others. Looking forward to listening to the video on the commute home and tomorrow morning.
Hope you’re having a good Friday. I’m always getting my Fridays and Saturdays mixed up on this crazy shift.
Quite an informative conversation. I’m getting it more that Presuppositionalism is not just being dogmatic
Blessings. Thank you.:)
Thank you for dropping by with this post. Have a blessed weekend Maw Maw!
You also.
They should consider other social media in case Facebook and YouTube censors them
Thank you for these.
You are welcome! How did the evangelism go???
Last Friday’s evangelism was not one of our best days. There was a few things that came against us. But regardless we shall not give up.
Thank you pastor Jim for your encouragement.
Blessings
[…] 7.) Talk: The Christian Worldview Project and Apologetics Central on Proof of God’s Existence […]
Jim, thanks for sharing. I listened to the first half, and it was a blessing to witness these men share their faith.
Thank you, there needs to be more discussion about apologetics’ methodology
Thanks for sharing this Jimmy!
It was quite exciting for me to have this conversation, and it was incredibly stressful. But from the comments I gather that people found it insightful. Praise God for that!
Solid material!
