Just a fun meme above. Here in the US a stimulus check of $1,400 was passed. How many of you bought Christian books?
You might know from the blog I love Cornelius Van Til and John Frame, both men who were Pesuppositional apologists and Systematic Theologian with academic background in philosophy. I highly recommend their works. Here are some of the review I have written in the past of their books.

I really enjoy John Frame’s writings on theology especially with how he show other doctrines relate to other doctrines. I’m big on inter-relations of doctrines because of John Frame and I think he’s quite readable for everyone though it was kind stretching at first! How are you guys in NY, is there same or less restrictions with Covid health and safety?
We’re doing fine Pastor, restrictions are lifting but quality of life here continues to decline. We spend a lot of time in MA, caring for my elderly parents – praying about where God might move and plant us.

Just about all of our $1400 C-19 stimulus checks will be going toward paying what we owe on our 2020 New York State taxes because that is how things roll here in the “Empire State.”

We have not gotten the stimulus checks either! We only got the first one. Was that the same with you? I guess we file taxes and mention it then to have it remedied, don’t know if you head to do the same thing…or so I hear. How is your day going?

I have purchased books for my grandchildren, most recently the “Millie Maven” series by Ted Dekker that I’m reading to my granddaughter Charlotte. As for books for myself, I usually go for the audiobooks, so I can read them while I work out, but these days more often than not, I spend my walking time or time on the elliptical machine praying. In my reading time, I’m reading the Bible and preparing a lesson for my granddaughters. In my younger days I never would have imagined I would be this busy!
I still haven’t read all the Christian books I already have! Lol. I can see how it would be money well spent though. Waiting for the Lord to send me good Christian messages (with humor) for the monologue of “The 2 Penny Show”. Any advice on that?

I may do that after I complete these current projects, but that may be awhile. I know what you mean though. A monologue at the beginning of a show is a special kind of talent. Coupling that with a humorous Christian message seems particularly tricky to me. I’ll keep praying about it. Thanks Jim. 😁
