For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Pray for the Salvation of Americans .
.
Now when I say pray for the salvation of Americans I don’t imply Americans are the worst people in the world; nor is my prayer meant to imply Americans are self-righteously better than everyone else (that would be to misunderstand the biblical doctrines of salvation).
There’s so many things going wrong in America right now. But often these problems are not the root cause. America needs to know the sinfulness of sins. We need to pray about this. Sinners need to come to trust in Jesus as Savior of their sins.
How much we need an army of fervent praying saints, willing to get on their knees in tears for their country. So many Americans, Canadians, British etc don’t know our Holy God and are headed directly to Hell for Eternity. Does this reality not pierce our hearts brethren for the lost souls of our country?
Your comment move me to pray passionately for salvation of souls Alan!

Amen! I am praying brother. You are spot on that the problems in America are not knowing and following Jesus.
Blessings.
Totally agree with your post and brother Alan’s comment .
Thanks for reading this. Thanks for your many comments! I’m grateful to know Australia has an evangelist like you. This I thank God for especially during these times.
America needs to know the sinfulness of sins.
In a nutshell, that’s it.
Indeed; I’m praying accordingly on this day, the 4th of July. Hope you have a blessed one!
Same to you and yours!
Praying to GOD that He will call people all over the States and the world to repentance and to follow Him. Happy 4th of July, Jim! Blessings to you and your family!
Thank you for your prayers; I sometimes think that the Philippines as a society respect Christianity more than today’s American society; but of course we don’t want just outward “cultural” Christians but people to be really saved, whether in America or many nations around the world! God bless you Kent, have a good sleep and rest.
Reblogged this on a simple man of God.
Praying.
I join you in praying for this! Are you guys doing anything for the 4th tonight with Leeaan?
We watched Leeann get on the train an hour ago. However, we took her to our church building today and per her request, we took Leann fishing and praise Jesus, she caught a fish! Nathan had a really great conversation with Leeann last night and tomorrow she is going to visit Arlington National Cemetery. He really impressed upon her the importance of understanding that each one of those white crosses is a person. When she puts on the uniform she represents everyone of those men and women, and when she has to make a hard decision she needs to think of everyone of the men and women who died in uniform. You would have approved of what he said and it really meant a lot to Leeann.
As for Nathan and I we have a fire going in our yard to deter folks from shooting fireworks that will land in our yard!! What do y’all have planned for today and tomorrow?!
Thanks for the good exhortation, brother! Yes, we need to pray for the lost among us. So many “religious but lost” souls in America, along with a rising number of young atheists.
Indeed many religious but not saved! Just got done with church anything you guys doing for the 4th???
Yes we do need to pray for salvation for Americans. Many Americans put their hope in their material possessions and accomplishments rather than Jesus. Many Americans hold onto to some religious identity but not a genuine relationship with Christ. So many Americans are spiritually blind and deceived and living in all kinds of lifestyles in the name of “diversity” We need to do more than pray, we must get back to evangalizing in person
Amen to evangelism brother, you speak my heart beat when it comes to Evangelism brother. Hope you have a blessed day that also include prayer for souls and salvation
Happy 4th
Amen. In prayer.
And amen! Grateful this day for our Freedom and the good principles our country was founded on even as things aren’t perfect and the direction the US is taking…praying much! God blss yoU!
Amen. 🙏🙏🙏
And as long as there is sin, not just at the head of the nation, but in the hearts of so many within that nation, it is hard for the Lord to BLESS that nation. I like this saying, “God chose Israel to be His chosen people,” but, “our founding fathers chose God to be their God.” This is why God was able to bless our country as a nation even though even back then there was some corruption. But as the nation rejects God, He is going to abide by their freedom to choose. It is only because of God’s children within this nation right now, that it hasn’t fallen harder than it has! So yes, indeed, we need to fervently be praying for our lost!! Amen and AMEN!
As an American, I stand in agreement with you. Thank you for your thoughtfulness to pray.

As people for Americans to flee Taliban we must pray too for salvation of Americans who don’t know Jesus
I just read an American FB comment that show the spiritual conditions of some Americans need Jesus:
“ You are wrong. God does not form human beings from the dust like Adam and send them down to earth in what you percicive as a ‘perfect state’ (that’s a fairytaleistic view of the creator, belonging to Disney movies). In the womb many things can and do go wrong.
Intersex conditions is a natural phenomena and in the Jewish tradition it is talked about. Adam was created as an intersex being and then split in 2, that’s the ancient and traditional interpretation of paraphr “He took from his ribs ie side and formed Chavah”
They’re wicked….like satan himself. They need Jesus
We need a lot of prayer for our country! Thank you for this reminder SlimJim. Praying!
🙏🏾
This is both sadly and joyfully good
