For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Pray for any future church retreat plans.
This specific one is one that I will be doing this Lord’s Day. We haven’t had a retreat before the Pandemic, which many churches would have been through the same thing. We are planning a winter retreat in January 2021 with another church. The pastor of this other church has been so kind as to be our guest speaker for today and also some of his members are also going to come down to our church so that we pray together ahead of time about it!
I don’t know about the particular details with other churches and if they are having any plans for a retreat. But this is worth praying about for your church. Pray that it will be used by God. Pray for people to attend. Pray for it to be used by God. Pray for people to be safe both at the retreat and traveling mercy to the retreat. Pray for God to work in the lives of the people attending. Pray for the speakers, topic, location, logistics, the many servants and volunteers and also for people to be saved!

Great suggestion. Praying for you, the other church leadership and the move of God in your midst.
Blessings.
Capturing this on screen shot and praying for all 6 items for your Church plus the main item for all other churches, later tonight. Even classroom retreats are fun, how much more Church ones. A blessed Sunday retreat to you and your family!
Aww thank you Kent for your prayers! I appreciate that a lot! Hope you have a good night!
That’s a great idea! Thanks, brother! Praying for y’all!
Thanks for your prayers! You don’t know how much it means! It would be a joy to have you join in with the youth as we go over Psalm 139 and Spurgeon’s booklet on it! Here’s a link to it: https://www.chapellibrary.org/book/p139/psalm-139-spurgeoncharlesh
Have a blessed Lord’s Day!
Thank you SO much for sharing this!! How was service?!
Will be praying
Thank you for your prayers!
Reblogged this on a simple man of God and commented:
We already canceled our summer youth trip – due to wildfires and then major rains – and are now planning for the fall. It would be nice to have a full-church retreat. The last retreat was for men about 5 years ago.

Co-events with other fellowships are blessings for all involved. Thanks for telling us about your upcoming retreat. May God bless the planning and prep!
Thanks Tom for reading! How is your shift for today going??
Thanks! Because June was the end of the business quarter, everyone worked hard to get the orders pushed out by June 30th. I had some work yesterday and this morning getting orders prepared for tomorrow/Monday, but for the next five hours I have absolutely nothing to do. I mean zero. Probably 70% of the weekend staff took yesterday and today off.
Hope you have a good Sunday with your family and congregation!
I haven’t been on a church retreat. May the one that you are planning be filled with blessings.
In prayer.
Thank you for your prayer! That means a lot!! I appreciate it. That means a lot to me
A good idea!
This is thinking ahead
What a blessing to begin scheduling church events such as a retreat. Three of my grandchildren have been blessed this summer with opportunities to attend retreats.
Can’t wait for my church retreat and camp!
Sir that is really good. Amen. We were just talking about that at Church yesterday.
My favorite retreat locations is the mountains! Especially with great prices and excellent food service!
