We hit a new milestone for our blog Veritas Domain: Sometime today September 18th at 4-5 AM Pacific Standard Time we had 2 million total views! That’s the total of view since our blog began in September 2006 but with most of the hits taking place the last few years.
It was 7 months ago and one day to get to here from when we were at 1.9 million. Took longer for this 100,000 than the previous years since it seems we have less hits than before.

For today’s post we will tackle the question the Skeptic Annotated Bible asked: Who named Beersheba?
Here are the answers which the skeptic believes indicate a Bible contradiction:
“Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because there the two of them took an oath.” (Genesis 21:31)
“So he called it Shibah; therefore the name of the city is Beersheba to this day.” (Genesis 26:33)
