For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Pray for the 340 Million Global Christians in Harm’s Way.
According to an article it says:
But a quick scan across international horizons reveals incomparably dire straits: Christians are facing immediate, desperate, and even deadly circumstances. Open Doors’ 2021 World Watch List report revealed that 340 million Christians — one in eight globally — face high levels of persecution and discrimination because of their faith. There was also a 60 percent increase in the number of Christians killed for their faith in the past year.

The article goes on to lists some examples of persecution worldwide. It’s worth reading.
The first Sunday of November has been set aside as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Whatever Sundays you happen to read this I think it is worth to pray with someone at Church about this. You can do this by attending a Prayer meeting and bringing this up. You can talk to someone and then say “hey, I have been burdened to pray with someone at church about the believers in the paths of persecution.” Sadly sometimes asking for others to pray together with Church one can be seen as strange; it shouldn’t be but I think doing this though might stretch yourself and others to pray together with others. What better way to pray for believers who really need it!

I am praying brother! Blessings for a great ministry day.
From the first linked article:
…And then there’s Afghanistan.
When Open Doors first listed Afghanistan as the world’s second-worst persecutor of Christians, it seemed farfetched. Who knew that there were any Christians there at all?
However, due to America’s sudden and stunning retreat from the country, leaving behind untold numbers of U.S. citizens and green card holders, we’ve also recently learned that as many as 10,000-12,000 Afghan Christians have been worshipping within a very secretive underground church movement for years. And, again, virtually all are converts from Islam.
Frantic rescue efforts in Afghanistan continue, and only God knows how many Christians, U.S. citizens, and allies will be left behind. Rescue flights are diminishing, while the Taliban’s inevitable bloodletting seems to have only just begun.
What is happening in Afghanistan is horrible….the horrible way the withdrawal was handled is going to costs lives including that of CHristians. Seems sometimes its so helpless what we every day Christians in America can do, but to pray…

Reblogged this on a simple man of God and commented:
“Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” (Hebrews 13:3, ESV)

Thanks for the exhortation, brother! We live in relative security here in the U.S. and often forget about the persecuted brethren around the world.
Indeed may we pray for our brethren in harms way. Amen! Talked to a believer with the challenges his church face In this regards in Asia. Our church is going to be praying very specifically for him and their church today, if you can pray for this specific brother’s safety and his church…
Yes, I will be praying for him and his church today, too. 🙏🏻
