For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Pray for Church Members to Share the Gospel.
A few months ago I wrote This Sunday at Church: Thank the Evangelists in your Church.
When I used the word “evangelist” in that post I used it in the popular Christian usage for evangelist: someone who evangelize a lot.
But biblically in Ephesians 4 the term “Evangelist” refers to someone who equips the church to evangelize.
Note Ephesians 4:11-12: “And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as [d]pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ.“
That makes me think about the church members’ responsibility to share the Gospel. That is one of the task of believers.
In these dark days the world needs the Gospel.
Pray for your church to be a witness!

Amen! We need the good news (gospel) of Jesus every minute of every day. It is not just to convert non-believers.
