For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Pray for Our Church’s Midweek Upcoming Apologetics’ Series.
I know this week’s “This Sunday at Church” is more personal for my own church context. But I thought I share it so the prayers isn’t generic. Plus I think its neat to have another local church pray for another local church’s prayer requests. I know our church has done it before and we can do it more often!
I am definitely going to bring this prayer requests up for my own local church’s prayer meeting after Service this Sunday. We have just finished our verse by verse series through the book of Nahum for our midweek service/Bible study. Earlier this week I wrote Deciding what to Preach and Teach on for rest of 2022 and I’ve decided our new midweek study will be on Presuppositional Apologetics.
But with this series I know it can be hard for some. So I am seeking prayers for this to be a series would be taught in a way that as many people can understand. Yet I also want it to challenge people to grow deeper and that it can help people to deal with actual challenges people bring up against Christianity. Of course with all things as a preacher and pastor I want to be biblically driven and faithful to God’s Word.
Pray for my research and crafting the outline and also teach it well. I’m also recording it with hopes that this will also bless others beyond those who are attending our mid-week series.
