Thanks for letting me double dip, so to speak. I was hoping you’d pick up on “The Proper Worldview is Imperative”, as I was thrilled by the article that I featured in that post. While I’ve learned a great deal from Lisle, Bahnsen, and others, Patricia Engler has also taught me, and I’m excited to pass her work on to others.
I’m glad to share your work I do enjoy the Proper Worldview post. Also thank you for sharing the 50 Bible contradictions answered post on both Twitter and FB! I appreciate it!
Weird how Fakebook lets people and Pages tag each other, but I cannot reply as TQEP to your Page. Of course, it doesn’t even show me who mentioned the Page. Anyway, glad to share it, that post fit right in.
This one from Cowboy Bob looks great. Thanks!
Thanks for the listing! I’ll be listening to the C2TC guys on my commutes the rest of the weekend.
Awesome you will listen to this during your commute! How is your Saturday shift going so far???
RE: work
Pretty slow today. Hoping to keep busy until 6:30. Tomorrow’s going to be a challenge. Looks like only two or three hours of work.
How’s your prep day starting out?
What a great set of scripture passages, thanks for sharing SlimJim ☺️. Happy Early Resurrection Sunday!
I like #5! Praying for your sermon tomorrow!!!!! Happy Easter to you and the family. Love you all!!!!!!
Awe thank you!! Hope you have a blessed Resurrection Sunday tomorrow, are you teaching or doing any ministry tomorrow?
Not today. We took the Arabic youth out for dinner last night, what a beautiful evening!!!! I am so very thankful and humbled for the youth at TCAC. I was talking about them to Nathan and I am just so thankful and blessed by all y’all!!!!
I found link 5 interesting about fitting “three days and three nights” between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning.
I would be one of those who thinks it cannot be done. What we have is one full day, two partial days but only two nights. We don’t have three nights. Also Jonah 1:17 references the length of time that Jonah was in the whale.
Given that inconsistency in Church tradition, the next question is how did that happen? I see that occurring due to the early Church compromising with pagan religion. I also see the turning away from the biblical calendar to be an unfortunate result of early anti-Judaism.
Do you think Christ raised from the dead on Monday instead of Sunday?
As I see it He rose from the dead on Saturday afternoon toward evening. Three days earlier would have been Wednesday afternoon toward evening. That was the Passover for that year. What we know from the Gospels is that Yeshua fulfilled the sign of Jonah, the women found the tomb empty on Sunday morning and he died and was buried on an afternoon. Putting all that together, gives a Wednesday Crucifixion and a Saturday Resurrection. He fulfilled the Passover, His own prophecy of the sign of Jonah and on Sunday the Day of First Fruits.
