For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Explain to someone about the Propitiation.
What’s the doctrine of Propitiation? This here explains it: Do you know what is the doctrine of Redemption, Propitiation, Justification and Adoption?
This doctrine is precious. It explains how Christ satisfies God’s wrath that is against sinners. Sadly many Christians will give you a question mark face if you ask them what it is. So its worth talking about. Its worth starting it up by asking them if they heard of it. Consider even sharing the video we linked! And keep the focus on worshipping Christ for what He has done!
Yes, it is such a great and beautiful doctrine. It is also a dividing line between Christians and the “Christian” Left. The latter denies the doctrine and are offended by it.
He is risen!
True the left are offended by this doctrine, sadly this is so. But it is for believers the aroma of eternal life. Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday, hope your body is doing well

Thanks for the excellent suggestion. It is such a blessed part of our celebration today for Resurrection Sunday.
Shalom!
Thank you for this latest suggestion. Keep those great ideas coming! He is risen!
Thanks Andy! Hope you had a blessed Resurrection Sunday?
The word “propitiation” is a mouth-full but the explanation “Christ satisfies God’s wrath that is against sinners” is well worth being aware of.
Amen! Since He is worthy of being known, and His saving works on the Cross and Resurrection is important to be known also for salvation we need, it is worthy of being discussed and shared! Have a blessed Sunday Frank!
Blessings to all of you as we shout “Glory” to our King.
Hope your resurrection Sunday went well sister!
Thanks for the good exhortation! Yes, Jesus’ perfect sacrifice was essential to satisfy Holy God’s justice. Sadly, many who call themselves “Christians” think they must and can merit their salvation.
RE: ” Sadly, many who call themselves “Christians” think they must and can merit their salvation” Its this reality that some are mislead that I am praying today I explain the Gospel well to hearers. Pray for me for that. How did your shift today turn out?
Yes, I am praying! 🙏🏻
RE: shift
Thanks. Almost zero to do today as expected. Thankfully, I do have a special project job that I’m able to work on in situations like this.
And an old friend, who is a retired pastor, used the NASB instead of the NIV, because they use propitiation. Thank you for the likes and comments yesterday. I hope to get back on track soon with my reading.
Wow awesome you noticed that! I mentioned the exact point you shared about 1 John 2:2 with the word better translation as propitiation. Hope your Resurrection Sunday is going well?
Nearing an end and we are doing okay. Hope your day has been a good one also.

Happy resurrection Sunday. This the best topic to share today. Thanks.
Amen sister Beverley this is relevant for a day like today (and any day too!). I hope your resurrection Sunday went well and spent with some or all your kids!
It was great
Pastor Jim, thanks for sharing this doctrine. While the term of “propitiation” is a new word to me, the concept isn’t new. Every day Christians rejoice in the Resurrection.
