Personal Relationship are part of the fabric of who we are. Yet relationships don’t make sense in every worldview. In fact personal relationships are intelligible and meaningful in a Christian worldview.
On May 21st there was a conference called “Rescue Youth and Young Adult Conference 2022” at Metropolitan Baptist Church at Hollywood Florida. Speaker James Hanna delivered an excellent message employing Presuppositional Apologetics to drive the point home that relationships presupposes the Biblical worldview.
This is not easy to convey all in one message! I think James Hanna did a good job explaining what is a worldview/philosophy, how we all have a worldview, what are the elements of a worldview, examples of how unbiblical worldview doesn’t even make sense of relationships and it makes it irrational, and how if relationships are based upon the foundation for the Christian worldview to make sense then this sets the foundation for us to interpret relationships biblically and also follow biblical imperatives in our relationships.
Here’s the video:
I want to add that this might be more important in the days ahead since many of the political heated subject today is about morals and ethics and while James Hanna was not talking about politics there’s the implication that people will no doubt have clashing ethics about relationships and we as Christians need to be ready to defend attacks of Christian views of relationship at the level of worldview apologetics. So I’m grateful for James Hanna giving this message.
I will check this out and get back to you with my thoughts later this weekend! Thank you!
Our youth group will pray this morning for you to feel better and for grace for all that you do this weekend sister!!
Thank you for your prayers, brother! This brain fog and lightheadedness is awful! How are things your way?
Thanks. I have added to my watch list.
Praying for your ministry this weekend.
Shalom.

I just finished watching this presentation that Pastor Jim shared on his blog. It is so filled with truth that I had to share it with y’all.
Thank you.
You are welcome. I’m praying for your recovery from Covid and bronchitis
I so appeciate those prayers. God is Good.
It is good “to be ready to defend attacks of Christian views of relationship at the level of worldview apologetics” even to ourselves so we are not fooled by modern culture.
So true we need to be discerning ourselves too yes sir! Amen! So much attack online on social media the last 48 hours!
Good job Mr Hanna
Thanks you so much 🙏🏾
Thanks! I’m going to listen to this when I cut the grass tomorrow.
Thanks! How is your shift today??
RE: Shift
Thanks! It turned out to be a decent day. I was done with my orders at noon and audited the rest of the day, a welcomed respite.
How did your Sunday go?
He’s really nailed it against atheism and its destruction for the possibility of relationship
He’s a gifted speaker
Gifted indeed. Apologies for the delay. Summer you know…
