For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Praying more people would come to a Biblical view of the Preborn.
This past week I’m sure we have seen a lot of so called Christians display views that does not acknowledge the personhood of the preborn. I think there’s a lot of teachings that needs to be done in our churches on this subject. I think it is important to pray for those in the church to have a biblical view of the preborn.
Pray. Pray about it in prayer meeting. Pray about it with someone who talk to you about this. Pray about it even alone during church service.
I think we must also pray for people not only to see the issue in biblical light but also that people would come to Christ to be forgiven of their sins. But people would not come to Christ if they first don’t see the sinfulness of the sin of murdering a preborn. Hence the importance of this matter.
This is a subject that needs to be taught with wisdom and pastorally. This is something to pray about for your church and pastor too.

Sadly, we live in a world who lives on emotions, feelings and what we think versus what God said. I do not comprehend why people who does not want children have unprotected sex risking unwanted pregnancies.
Amen Tangie, amen! It Boils down to the preborn being life for me.
Will you check out my post at 7:45 this morning and let me know your thoughts. Thanks
Amen! Well said brother: “This is a subject that needs to be taught with wisdom and pastorally. This is something to pray about for your church and pastor too.”
Shalom.
God said “Thou shall not kill” (murder); nothing God said is controversial.
Thanks for your pastoral view and phrasing on this issue. My thoughts jump to, “They need to overcome their cognitive dissonance.”
It seems to me that just one verse clinches it for the pro-life movement and, simultaneously, strikes a fatal blow against the pro-choice crowd: Jeremiah 1:5.
Relatedly, I was not aware until yesterday–when this article by John Piper was posted on another blog–that some use particular translations of Exodus 21:22-25 as a proof-text for pro-choice.
Wow thank you Craig for sharing with me that article by John Piper! I’ve been planning to look at Exodus 21:22-25 and writing a post seeing a dear brother in Christ on FB encouraged me to research on it and write a response. But sometimes things get busy and other things pull me. You are right some need to overcome their coginitive dissonance, hopefully by the grace of God Craig, and good use of the verse from Jeremiah 1:5. Have a blessed Lord’s Day!
Glad Piper’s post proved profitable.
I trust you’re having a blessed Lord’s Day, as well!
Reblogged this on Talmidimblogging.
What is so sad is that it is even an issue. God help us.
Truth; it’s so sad this is an issue but such is the state of the church today. 😢
May those who call themselves Christians have a biblical view of the preborn. Good point: “people would not come to Christ if they first don’t see the sinfulness of the sin of murdering a preborn”.
Amen only till one see the sinfulness of sins would that open the door to seek God’s grace!

In prayer.
Thanks sister thank you for the prayer Bonnie!
You are welcome, Pastor.
Amen.
And amen Jeff hope you are well
Brother Jim, there are too many Scriptures that show us God identifies the person even before they are in the womb and even before the foundations of the world. I’m with you. We need to not be afraid to teach the truth of the Word but also to continue without ceasing to pray for the lost. We tend to forget that those in the world are SLAVES to sin, they can’t help themselves anymore than we could before the Lord rescued us! We don’t have to condone sin at all (as Christians, we better not be condoning) but we also aren’t to hate the creation that is still blinded! We were there once ourselves!! 👍💗🕊😇 I’m with you in 100% agreement! 🙏💗🕊🙏
Amen you are right to say this: “ We don’t have to condone sin at all (as Christians, we better not be condoning) but we also aren’t to hate the creation that is still blinded!”. Exactly! Hope you have a blessed Lord’s day
Of course the preborn are persons at conception. Making up terms such as “fetus” and stating it is not a person is self-deception.
There is quite a lot of lies and deceptions in this debate. It grieves me not going to lie
Great word we need to pray because there is too much convenience and humanism in the body of Christ.
We should be a people of conviction being led by the HolySpirit
Amen may the church be people of conviction. Will email you tonight after all my chruch meetings
It’s alright,Sir!
Blessings
I’m always praying for the pre born. I am so saddened and heavy hearted about the babies. I will continue on in my prayers for them.
Same thinking about the babies makes me sad and hard to think of what is done to them 😢
Good exhortation, brother! This reversal of Roe vs, Wade was unexpected, by me anyway. This reversal is going to be presented as an attack on personal “freedoms.” So much distortion in parlance of pro-abortionism.
Yes so much distortion going on. How is your rest day going so far?
RE: rest day
Thanks! I was up at 4:30 but “everyone else” got up at 11 because the dog had some major anxiety last night. I listened to the video of James Hanna talking about relationships and worldview while mowing the front lawn. Very good. It was interesting listening to the brother bring some “street parlance” to the presentation. The rest of the day is couch duty – reading and catching up on WordPress.
What’s your rest day look like?
So true. We definitely need more teachings in the church regarding these issues. A lot of young people in the church are using abortion like contraceptive. It is a sad state.
Yes I’m afraid of our young people not knowing what is biblical in this area
Our world is filled with so many diverse thoughts on a nearly unlimited playing field of life. The challenge is balance our prayer’s focus with strategic outreach.
Thank you for this post SlimJim. Besides speaking out against abortion and for preborn babies, we need to vigilantly pray for others to do what is right ❤️.
Yes! Also having the mind of Christ and being led by the Spirit is pretty vital.
