This Sunday at Church I want to encourage you to do the following: Pray for the salvation of any unbeliever hearing the Sermon today.
I thought I have written on praying for nonbelievers to be saved before for a post with our ongoing “This Sunday” series but apparently I somehow didn’t have this before!
There’s bound to be people at church this morning that are not yet Saved. Sometimes they might be someone you assumed is a Christian; this is too serious to not pray for people to be saved.
Pray God uses the message preached from the Word of God during service. Pray to God that He uses also the fellowship, discussion and questions among people. Pray for conviction, for truth to be trusted and believed, and pray for the Gospel to be clear and the response by the nonbeliever be to respond by faith in trusting in Jesus’ life and works to save sinners!
Pray! This is literally eternity at stake!
Pastor Jim, may the HOLY SPIRIT always inspire you as you prepare and deliver the sermons. GOD’s blessings be upon you, Nancy, and the kids!
Wow thank you for that comment and wish before the Lord. Blessings brother Kent!
I am praying for souls to be saved today!
Joining you in this prayer!

Thank you, Pastor Jim.
I’ll be praying that unbelievers who hear the message will accept Christ as Savior.
Praise God I’m praying that too! How goes your shift so far today?
All caught up so I’ll do audits the rest of the day. An easy peasy day.

As I was praying for this, I was reminded that many churches used to have an alter call at the end of their services. Some still do but others have abandoned it. Out of curiosity, does your church have a alter call for the unsaved?
Thanks.
Our church do not have altar call but I do appeal in the sermon to trust in the Lord and to talk to my wife and I after the service to discuss trusting in Christ.
It’s really easy to forget this part of our duty.
Yes. It’s so assumed we can take it for granted. How did your Sunday go????
It went well, hope yours did to! Hope you’re having a great Monday!
Amen! In our Sunday worship time, we gather in prayer before the sermon. This is a blessed time to add my own prayer for any nonbelievers in attendance.
Praise God for the prayers for the sermons!
Intercession for other’s souls is CRUCIAL!
Amen sister Amen
I am thankful that my pastor preaches the Gospel every Sunday. I always pray for people to answer God’s call during the invitation. Blessings, Pastor Jim!
Praise God for your pastor and other pastors like him who preach the Gospel
