Now for something fun! I’m reviewing something I haven’t done before on this blog: a Christian apologetics hoodie!
My blog cover a lot on Presuppositional Apologetics. I love it enough that I got something related to Presuppositional Apologetics besides books. Since it is getting colder with the fall what an appropriate time to have a hoodie and also something with the theme of Presuppositional Apologetics.
The above is a picture of the hoodie I ordered that is on this online Christian shirt shop called “The Powerful Christian.” You can go to the store directory by clicking here. (Its not a picture of me lol). The shop have merchandise related to Presuppositional Apologetics and also Reformed theology.
I enjoyed this wear. It was warm and fits well.
Many of us know one of the symbol of Christianity is the Fish. The picture on the shirt is that of that fish symbol but with a shark fin. I think it captures the theme of philosophically pressing the antithesis with unbelief. Below the image is the word “Presupp” referring to Presuppositional Apologetics.
I do think the logo is really cool and simple enough while being unique. I appreciate that. I’ve had a few looks and conversations about what does it mean.
On the store site this hooded sweater is available in various colors such as heather grey, royal blue, red, navy, etc. I got mine in the color black.
Note that the shop also have other kinds of outfits for men, women and kids. Again check it out here.
I think the Bible proves itself, but I think the Bible can be shown to be true too. So, I sort of agreed with someone like RC Sproul (when he was still with us) too. A comfortable fence.
I think that even with Presuppositional apologetics there is a place for evidences; yet it might be different than evidentialism https://veritasdomain.wordpress.com/2020/03/14/presuppositional-apologetics-believes-in-evidence-yet-five-ways-its-different-than-evidentialism/
Blessings to you sir!!!
I love this!!!!! Is this the same website you shared before?! Thank you for sharing this. While I’m no where near as presupp educated as you, I would love to have discussions with people about the hoodie! Thank you for sharing this!!!
Thanks for reading this! Yes this is a same site I shared before for a Presup polo shirt!! Wow good memory! I remember Saturday you had a slide with a chart on General and Special revelation and you said it is from Dr Garland; this is David Garland I’m assuming?
Yes, Dr. Garner does the lecture videos, but my professor interactions are with another professor.
That’s a cool hoodie! Hey, the guy in the photo is dressed like the pastor at the church we formerly attended. It would be a perfect match if he had on skinny jeans with pre-fabricated holes in the knees and an expensive swag haircut. Sorry, I digress.
That’s hilarious! The guy in the photo looks more like a cool mega church youth pastor rather than a Presup pastor that’s Reformed and into expository preaching and philosophy lol. But I too digress!! I showed your comment to my wife and she laughed and said I look better in the hoodie than the guy 😂😂😂😂. How goes your day?
I have a list of “deal breakers” in my church-search and one is a pastor who apes Steven Furtick.
I worked like crazy on the leaves today. The leaves are wedged into small bushes and flowers in the front garden and have to be removed by hand. Need to finish tomorrow because snow is predicted for Wednesday. How’s your Rest Day? I hope lots of couch time.
If I only wore hoodies!! But I’ll keep it in mind for those who do lol. 🙂
Awww. Thanks for dropping by! Hope to read blogs later tonight been a busy day!
Looks like a great gift for my son. Thanks.
Thank you Jim for sharing the link. God continues to inspire unique ways to open up the Gospel to others.
i’ve never liked the idea of the christian fish being made into a shark. that’s not what we are as christians.
Gotcha I can see what you are saying. I do think there is a spiritual warfare
LOL! That is a very cute hoodie. I’m laughing because we often paint Jesus rocks and leave them in parks for people to find. I sometimes paint a Jesus fish, but my husband often paints little sharks. The “Jesus sharks” are great source of humor in our house.
Lol wow your husband painted sharks? Lol great little story!
