This Sunday at Church I want to encourage you to do the following: Pray for unsaved recent visitors to be saved.
Around this time of the year there are people visiting churches. Sometimes they are visiting because they have a sense of religiousness; yet they still don’t know and have not trusted in the Gospel. Or someone that’s a family member invited them to church to hear the Gospel.
What is the Gospel I’m talking about? It is the message we are all sinners; God will judge sins and sinners. That’s the bad news. But the Good News is this: For those who trust in God, God has sent Jesus to live a perfect life to die for their sins on the Cross. To be saved, one needs to place their trust in Jesus Christ to be saved.
Pray for any visitor at your church to hear the Gospel and for God to work in their hearts through the Gospel being shared. Pray for God to draw and save the visitor! Pray the Message and the Word of God does its work in the hearts of sinners who providentially visited your church this Sunday.

Every week Hope Chapel my church encourages new visitors to raise their hands at the beginning of the service so we can give them a visitor information card. They fill out their contact form and give it to an usher. The Community Life Pastor then follows up and calls them and e-mails them the following week, to speak more with them. God is still brining the lost to our services.
Praise the Lord brother, praise the Lord!

Thanks, Jimmy. I appreciate your prayers! The church we’re visiting was on my short list when we were looking for a church seven years ago and we ended up at the vapid megachurch instead. I’m hoping there’s no politics from the pulpit or hat tips to ecumenism as was the case with the last two. I have two more churches in mind. It’s tough to find a good church here in the anti-Bible Belt.

Praying for any who visit a church today that the truth of the Gospel will open their eyes to His love.
