Learning Presuppositional Apologetics
The Box: Answering the Faith of Unbelief
Craig Biehl. The Box: Answering the Faith of Unbelief. Franklin, TN: Carpenter’s Son Publishing, November 10, 2014. 160 pp.
Love how this book gives dialogues between a nonbeliever and a believer. I plan to read more books from the author!
Purchase: Amazon
Expository Apologetics
Voddie T. Baucham Jr. Expository Apologetics: Answering Objections with the Power of the Word. Wheaton, IL: Crossway, May 31, 2015. 208 pp.
The apologetics method Voddie Bauchman advocate for here is largely presuppositional apologetics and I was pleasantly surprised to see the book mentioned Cornelius Van Til, John Frame and Sye TenBruggencate.
Purchase: Amazon
Applying Presuppositional Apologetics’ Critiques
The Absurdity of Unbelief
Jeffrey Johnson. The Absurdity of Unbelief. Conway, AR: Free Grace Press, January 22, 2016. 350 pp.
Good introduction and I also appreciate the author’s hard work in refuting false worldviews in this book. Author uses Presuppositional Apologetics’ critiques applied to other religions, philosophy and other various systems of unbelief.
Purchase: Amazon
Immanuel Kant
Shao Kai Tseng. Immanuel Kant. Phillipsburg, NJ: Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing, November 16th 2020. 232 pp.
This is a nuanced look at Immanuel Kant in light of the latest Kant studies in academia. Also gives a Reformed evaluation of this philosopher.

Michael Kruger. The Question of Canon: Challenging the Status Quo in the New Testament Debate. Downers Grove, IL: Intervarsity Press, October 3, 2013. 256 pp.

Introduction to Logic
Jason Lisle. Introduction to Logic. Green Forest, AK: Master Books, December 10, 2018. 192 pp.

Vern Poythress. Redeeming Our Thinking about History: A God-Centered Approach. Wheaton, IL: Crossway, March 15, 2022. 256 pp.

The Faithful Apologist: Rethinking the Role of Persuasion in Apologetics
K. Scott Oliphint. The Faithful Apologist: Rethinking the Role of Persuasion in Apologetics. Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan Academic, February 22nd 2022. 224 pp.
I know some people have told me they think Presuppositionalists have no interests with persuading people but only to refute unbelievers; this book suggests otherwise. I’m glad that a book on persuasion was written by someone who is a Presuppositionalist!

Thanks for the resources and for the short re-reviews of the 2022 books. So many books and so little time. [Sigh]
Agreed!!!!!!
Amen Mandy! How did your Thanksgiving turned out???
It was BEAUTIFUL!!!!! How was your duck?! Do you see the Burtons and your family for thanksgiving or do you celebrate with one of your families today/weekend?!
I feel you with the feeling of so many books so little time! Do you feel you have been able to have more time to read now that you are retired?
Because the three-week leaf campaign soaked up a lot of time and energy after I initially retired, I’m just now settling into a retirement routine. Yup, I’ll definitely be reading more. My book reading is down this year, only 24 to date, and many of the books I’ve read recently I didn’t enjoy all that much.
I always look forward to this so I can get some goodies for my friends and family.
Shalom!
Awesome! How was your Thanksgiving?
Thanks so much for sharing these valuable resources. It is appreciated. I can share this with friends who are presently involved in apologetics!
Wow you are welcome! I love how your church has a group called the “Apologist.” How did your Thanksgiving go brother BG??
It was one of our best ever gatherings! Lots of fun, some fellowship, honoring God, memories and the food was extraordinarily good. We were all so grateful to see each other!
I never knew there’s that many Presuppositional Apologetics books that’s been published
There’s quite a number over the years! Check out the other years titles for more!!
Thank you. Helpful.
Michael Kruger’s book on the canon looks interesting in promoting, according to the Amazon information: “a quickly emerging, self-authenticating collection of authoritative scriptures”.
I thought it was a very good book that challenged some ofthe presuppositions assumed by those who attack the canonicity of the books in the Bible, and while mainly addressing liberal academic scholars, have implications with dealing with groups like Catholicism
I found the book on Internet Archive and will try to read some of it. Thank you for the recommendation.
Wow. What a list of resources!
Thanks brother for checking this post out!
Loved the list!
As a bivocational science teacher, I have thoroughly enjoyed many of these books. For every secular book, such as On the Origins of Species by Charles Darwin, I’ll resort to one of these following. One of my favorites, (not quite apologetic but a great read) is Darwin Devolves by Michael Behe. You may enjoy it!
I didn’t know you were a science teacher! I haven’t read Behe since I was younger. That book does sound like an interesting title. What grade level do you teach???
I was looking for a textbook on logic; perfect.
The Box also seems like a great gift book
Awesome! Yes both books are great resources
Added some to the list!
Awesome brother! I bet you read some of these already too since you read a lot
