This Sunday at Church I want to encourage you to do the following: Give a book on the Incarnation or the Birth of Christ.
This idea isn’t just only during Christmas time. It should be something we can do even other time of the year especially since the truth of God becoming man in the Person of Jesus Christ is a timeless truth! It is a great truth.
So its a truth worth celebrating and praising God with others.
Here’s some suggestions:

Because our youth Christmas party is today, this gets a separate comment than just in the reblog! Part of the gift bag is a booklet about the incarnation.
Side note: I gave a couple of the student workers in Theology apologetics study Bibles. By the end of the day, they had given them away to a struggling pastor’s kid questioning his faith and to a questioning agnostic. Then they came to apologize for giving them away! As if giving God’s Word would upset me!

Our Air Force son is arriving from Florida Wednesday PM to spend a week with us. My wife is scrambling to clean and decorate (her favorite thing to do) and I try to stay out of the way. Of course our family will be gathering together Sunday at our house. What are your holiday plans?
