In light of today being Resurrection Sunday (Easter) its appropriate to say: Be grateful for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
With each passing year I grow up as a Christian the more I appreciate what Christ has done for our salvation.
And the wonders around this time of year is the resurrection:
But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; 5 and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living One among the dead? 6 He is not here, but He has [a]risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.”
The Resurrection has huge implications.
1 Corinthians 15:58 teaches us that because of the Resurrection being real it means that what we do serving God is not in vain.
We need to be encouraged by that!
But also may we be grateful to God for Christ being resurrected!
Glory to God! Without the bodily Resurrection of Jesus, the incarnate God the Son, our faith would be meaningless.
So true. So true. How we need Christ and His Resurrection!!

Happy resurrection day!
Happy Resurrection Sunday!!
Thanks for the good exhortation! Christ’s resurrection from the dead meant His perfect sacrifice was acceptable and that our sins were forgiven. That’s a lot to ponder and be grateful for!
Yes there’s so much implications with the resurrection of Jesus Christ!! How is your Resurrection Sunday so far?
We’re going to have a very busy day with our youngest son arriving from Florida at some time, a zoom call with my sisters at 1, and then 8 family guests coming over for dinner.
What are your plans for today?
May all of you have a blessed Resurrection Sunday!
Same to you! Next three weeks I be slower with blogs just FYI because of work
So thankful for Jesus. Happy Resurrection Sunday.
Blessings.
He is Risen! May we love our Savior more!!

Blessings to you too! HOw is your Resurrection Sunday???
I shutter to even think of life without the resurrection.
Good point; makes me more glad for the Resurrection
Amen. Thank God that He died that we might live. Praise 👏 the Lord.
Amen! What a Savior!
One thing that we must always be reminded of is that we are and can be resurrected with Jesus too! Although we live in this fleshy body and are prone to hurt, pain, trauma, etc, we do not have to just settle for the consequences of it. Because of Jesus, we can have everlasting life and also a joy-filled life on this earth. Not a perfect or glamorous life, but a life filled with peace because we know who holds it all together. 😊
My pastor talked about this in his message yesterday, and it hit me again last night as I was preparing for bed.
Praise God! Thank you for reading this
One day we will all be there in the air with the risen Lord and then soon after in the kingdom of the son of God. Can’t wait.
Amen can’t wait
One thing I truly appreciate is that with Christ being resurrected, it gives us hope that our loved ones will be resurrected as well.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 says, “ For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.”
We have a wonderful hope in the near future that was made possible through Jesus’ sacrifice!
Christ is Risen! The Resurrection breathes with God’s ultimate grace. May others come to witness its daily nourishment of faith.
